2011Santa Cutie, There’s Really Something I Really Do Need…

So, I know that the holidays is a time for family, fun, great food and gifts! Though every time Hubby asks me, “Babe, what do you want for Christmas and your Birthday this year?”
My mind goes blank.
Though there is many things that I absolutely would love to have, there’s really nothing that I really n e e d so to speak. I think I’m just really happy with all that I do have materialistically. I think it was last year that I made a list and I did get most of my wish list. Being a December baby, I used to hate getting jipped or a combo gift but, now that is much, much less important to me.
To be frank, I am just happy with the gift of life and being able to still be here!
Plus, I rather have Hubby splurge on the kiddos!
I also much love giving more than receiving.
Anyway, for good times sake, I’ll make a small little wish list, I hope the Big Guy can accommodate!

- First and foremost, Santa, I’d really like my health back. I know I’ve enjoyed 27 long years of good health but, this year has been pretty rough. I’d also LOVE for a little more understanding and empathy from those that are in authority and can make a significant difference in my life. That would definitely be a bonus.
- Seeing the look on my children’s faces when they open their gifts would be amazing. The astonishment is priceless.
- A white Christmas but, can you make sure you ONLY make it snow then and then it can just go away. Or at least just enough that I don’t get stuck in my driveway pulling out.
- I really hope that all the beautiful people of the world recycle their wrapping paper, reuse their gift bags and bows and cut back on all things excess. That would really, really make my day.
- A pair of new boots would be fabulous, though getting back to needs and wants–it’s not necessary. If you do send shoes, maybe a pair of TOMS would be nice, that way I’m giving back too.
- Now, diamonds are forever, what girl doesn’t love diamonds? I am a simple girl and though the thought is great, unless it’s not marking a special and meaningful anniversary, I can wait. But, I know most of my girlfriends do love them and some are celebrating momentous occasions and they sure are beautiful.
- A new lens for my DSLR is really something that I would love, so if I can pick one material thing, that’d be it. More options to take pictures of my family! Mamarazzi in action!
- Another Strawesome would be AWESOME.
- Some dark chocolate. Well, lots, Lindt would be nice.
- Most of all, I’d really love a great holiday season and all the best wishes for my friends and family this year and for the years to come!
What are you asking Santa Baby for this Christmas?
I want to know, til then, cheers m’deres!

I asked for a new pair of docs, a crockpot and a nap. Could pass on the first two, and just go for the 3rd. Time to myself, that is really the thing I would like best… which during the season of family togetherness probably makes me a bit of a Grinch.

LOL, oh naps are great! You can always make a little camp out by the TV, watch some movies and lounge. Kids love doing that and you get to rest too! :D

Ask for Peppermint Lindt. It is the best thing ever. Honestly.

It’s a green alternative to disposable straws. They are made of glass and you can reuse them to your heart’s content. :)
