Being a Kellogger means that I have the responsibility to share pure awesomeness with you.
With that being said, Kelloggs recently sent over these brand spankin’ new Special K Cracker Chips. They come in Original Flavor, Sour Cream & Onion and Cheddar and let me tell you, these did not last long as they were devoured shortly 24-48 hours upon their arrival.
As soon as I opened them it was free game and all 3 boxes were opened, you know for “testing” purposes.
Hehe.
Everyone loved the Sour Cream & Onion, us adults loved the Original and the girls loved the Cheddar. They all pack a crispy crunch and a kick of flavor!
Well, I particularly enjoyed (and hoarded) the Sour Cream & Onion, perfect light taste and the perfect hint of flavor, the Original chips were very tasty as well. The Cheddar didn’t sit right with my palate but, the kids and Hubby sure loved them!
The best part of this potato and rice blended chip is that they are only 80 calories per 18 chips! If you are counting calories, you know that this a godsend. Especially when you have a craving for something crispy and doggone it, plain chips. With Special K, you can have your chips and EAT them too!
A great snack!
I love that these are not oily, too salty and not high in saturated fats and sodium. A good rule of thumb for labels is that if the daily values are under 10%, it’s a good sign. Anything higher than that, you’d have to err on the caution side.
But, these are all under that!
Above are pictured all three flavors and what a portion size looks like. That’s a whole lotta chip for not so many calories.

While I found the cheddar ones a little underwhelming, the other two boxes both emptied within a day….Sad, I know, but that's what happens when I try new things!
I found these fascinating – not too sure what to think of Kellogg's trying to get into the potato chip market – I know I can't have t hem because they are not gluten free and was a little disappointed at that, but from what I hear they are yummy…except for the cheddar ones that are apparently quite gross. But hey, I think Ketchup chips are disgusting but lots of people love them!!!

I'd really like to get the sour cream and onion flavour. We just tried the original lately in our house. Mixed responses from the boys – but I just about guarantee that the sc&o would be gone like*that!*

I loved the sour cream cracker chips (note the past tense) and I managed to try a handful of the cheddar ones before the kiddos scarfed them down! Tasty!

All of our boxes were consumed within 36 hours. Sadly, the plain ones were my favourite. Not sure what, exactly, that says about my palette :)

My fav was the Sour Cream and Onion even though my kids loved all flavors, all three boxes were gone within a matter of days, lol.
