Ah, as you can see, I have major renovations on my mind and while I may never have a bathroom the size of the one pictured above and I may not have that amazing tub, but there’s absolutely one thing that I would spend my money on…
That’s a brand spankin’ new and modern vanity.
I think both my husband and I agree that we really do need to invest in one. While having two bathrooms helps, it is another thing to be able to have a bathroom that is shared yet completely and totally yours. I have been in contact with the people at Floform about getting the countertops replaced with some beautiful quartz.
Did you know that according to a recent study in the UK, that on average, a person will spend 1 1/2 years of their lifetime in the bathroom. What’s even more interesting and not so surprising is that women spend an average of 1 year, 7 months, and 15 days longer in the bathroom than men. However, men spend more time on the toilet than women do. Approximately an hour and 45 minutes every week, compared to an hour and 20 minutes a week for women.
Now this is completely doable for us. This Merlot double sink bathroom modern vanity set exudes quality from every detail. It’s also in an expresso finish which we absolutely adore. The soft-close cabinet hinges, double under sink storage, extra counter space and adjustable height levelers and turned feet make it perfect for us.
This will help us to begin creating a shared space that is functional for us as a couple. Which means no more fighting over the mirror or sink since we don’t want to go to the basement to get ready!
Got a Guest Bathroom or 1/2 Bathroom?
I think this is something I have always wanted for at least of one of our bathrooms, I think that the reason why I say I can live in and out of hotels is because of their bathrooms that make you feel like you’re in the lap of luxury.
Whether you like modern vanities or would opt for an antique vanity, this beautiful Folding Doors works. It showcases versatility with an open storage area for towels, baskets, and other toiletries, four drawers for other accessories, and a mirror that hangs horizontally or vertically.
I think that we are over due for refreshing our living spaces and often times, the bathroom is probably one of the ONLY places in the house that I can get some time for me and to my own thoughts. I say most times because with kidlets, they will always find you and you will see little fingers poking through the doors.
How do you envision your DREAM bathroom?
Let me know, til then–cheers m’deres!
