An Unforgettable Niagara Falls Helicopter Tour
If you know me, you know that my family is a gigantic part of my life. I was blessed with parents who have always been there.
Ones that have sacrificed so much for my siblings and me.
I always struggle with finding ways to pay them back. Which I know is probably an impossible task. Instead, I try to enjoy all the big and little moments together.
Show them the world in infinite ways. The world that while they spent their time, money, and youth raising us–didn’t get to see.
I was able to show them one of their favourite places in a completely different way with Breakaway Experiences.
Niagara Falls Helicopter Tour
You may know that I am a huge Breakaway Experiences fan. Especially when it comes to giving Mother’s Day Gifts, Father’s Day Gifts, and Christmas Gifts.
But, I’ve used them myself to see more of Ontario. We used a gift certificate for a romantic Niagara Falls Wine tour getaway and we enjoyed it to the max.
This time, we started our quick drive early in the morning and headed to Niagara Falls, ON.
Darasak and I had planned to surprise both Gabby and our parents with not only a trip to Niagara Falls but, a helicopter ride over the falls.
Ever since my parents came to Canada, they’ve loved the falls and whenever they see them, they are still in awe. Aren’t we all though?
Furthermore, for my parents, they had only read about them in books as one of the wonders of the world. Needless to say, they love the falls. So, when Darasak and I invite them to Niagara, they are always eager to join.
We ordered Niagara Falls Helicopter tours from Breakaway Experiences ahead of time. While they were excited driving into Niagara, they were even more shocked when we arrived at the helipad. Ordering was super easy and we didn’t have to book a time.
We just printed out the information that Breakway Experiences sent us and then we showed up.
It was that simple.
See the Falls as You’ve Never Seen Them Before
By now, my parents, Gabby, and both of us were super excited. I was so happy that my parents were brave enough to go on!
One thing is for sure, the folks at Niagara Tours are super organized. We checked in and waited in a short line and then we were outside, getting called and ready to board.
There was plenty of room inside the helicopter. Gabby sat upfront with Darasak, and my dad, mom, and I sat in the back.
The helicopter’s turbines started with a low whir and just as quick as it started, we were in the air. You almost feel weightless and there is no turbulence at all.
Soon enough, we were in the air and traversing towards one of the greatest wonders of the world.
The Ride

The Experience
My parents never dreamed of seeing the falls like this in their lives. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime, bucket-list experience. One that they told me that they will take with them until the end of their days.
To me, that’s something that money cannot buy.
It’s a gift that is always remembered and treasured for all of us. It also gives me the joy that I am able to show my parents beautiful parts of our country like this.
While I know that I will never repay my parents for everything that they’ve done for me, I smile knowing that Breakaway Experiences is helping me try.
