I am a 27 year-old mother and wife. I graduated from St. Clair College as a converged journalist and I have dabbled in freelance work as well as broadcasting. I found my way back into the blogosphere simply for my love of writing.

I enjoy doing product reviews on products and services that I can stand behind or have used in the past. Family-friendly, green, natural and any products for mama are things that I enjoy sharing with my readers.

I am a freelance writer who writes for a local online publication windsoriteDOTca and on occasion, technorati.com. I act as a Community Manager for Canadian Moms Online Community which boasts over 500 members of women, entrepreneurs and bloggers alike.

I am a digital woman. I love connecting with other men and women through many mediums online and you can always find me doing something new! I am highly active on Twitter and Facebook so you can always get a response if you shoot me a mention or comment.

A few years ago I decided to go back to school and am now working in the health care field. I find my work fulfilling and I take great pride in the difference that I make in the lives of others who depend on me. I plan to work in many different aspects in this field in the near future.

But, first and foremost, I am a mother to my two beautiful angels. I am passionate about breastfeeding, I am a converted green mama! We only have one planet and its the one that our kids and their kid’s kids are going to live on. I try to instill this mentality to my eldest and will teach her younger sister as well. Any small contribution to the Earth makes a big difference.

I promote natural living, by using and endorsing natural and organic products and help others by introducing them to these alternatives.

I am a proud Canadian and I love my little hometown of Windsor, On. Though small, there is plenty to do here and it keeps me very involved in my girls lives. I love to see them flourish, triumph and enjoy childhood!

I’m a happy person, I love to laugh and make others laugh. One of the most defining things I can say about myself is that I’m not what I seem.

I may be serious at first glance but I am really quite silly and think that life should be lived with a good sense of humor.

Music is a huge part of my life and that of my girls and they’ve heard it from the womb.

On my spare time I enjoy cooking and my biggest pleasure is baking. I love decorating cakes and cupcakes or anything for that matter. I do take local orders for cakes and cupcakes and I enjoy doing it so far!

I also enjoy reading, writing and photography. Though I am still learning this art, I enjoy capturing memories and moments in time.

All in all, I would be lying if I said that life isn’t hard. That it doesn’t sometimes bring unbearable obstacles but what is beautiful in life is overcoming them.

And I have and I will continue doing so.

Meet The Family!

This is my dear husband Darasak and I. He is definitely my biggest pillar of support. Aside from my family, he is my best friend and shares the joys of parenting alongside with me. We are holding down our fort in Ontario right now and enjoying every minute we spend as a family.

Gabriella AKA Gabs, Peanut, Gabby & PeanPean- She is the feisty, intelligent, guitar lovin’, dance movin’ 7 year-old. Our bright bookworm! She keeps me on my toes and always puts a smile on my face. This little girl is the kindest spirit you will ever meet, patient and caring. She is in love with her little sister and is a huge help in our everyday routine. She is wise beyond her years, this one.

Michaela AKA Mimi, Jelly Bean & BeanBean, Fatty Girl-  She is what I consider, my little genius. She’s a mama-dada babblin’, walkin’ and fun-lovin’ breastfeeding buddy. Though we went 16 months strong she is now running around and not needing her boo-boo anymore. She loves to dance and sing and is mama’s little spitfire.
