My daughters are all about girl power and haven’t always fit the mold for everything girly. They have always had a deep love and fascination for super heroes. For the first time in her 56-year history, Barbie™ is pulling out a cape and mask and transforming into a modern-day superhero to celebrate girl empowerment in a way that only Barbie™ can.
She is urging Canadian girls everywhere to tap into their inner superheroes and share with the world how they are “being super” every day.
There are plenty of ways to be SUPER. Whether it is being kind, creative and the desire to make a change–one small act at time. It can really go a long way and is sure to empower your super hero.
About the Program:
The Barbie™ #BeSuper campaign is designed to recognize kids’ extraordinary powers to make a difference in the world with simple, every day acts; and to encourage them to share their super acts with others online at www.BeSuper.com. This new superhero theme is a first for Barbie™, empowering girls in a highly relevant and inspiring way that the brand has never tapped into before.
What is Your Inner Super Hero?
To inspire girls to creatively express what super means to them, through play, Barbie™ is launching a new line of superhero-themed toys, accessories, role play, and an all-new DVD. One lucky Whispered Inspirations reader will WIN this package, an ARV of $250. This giveaway opens on March 17th, 2015 and ends on midnight on April 1st, 2015.
I know my daughters are super excited to be SUPER through play and my youngest, Mimi is super stoked to play with the dolls. I think it’s a great way for girls to embrace their super powers because we all have them.
