Blissdom Canada 2011: The Experience
Blissdom Canada was Simply Amazing.
What the four amazing women– Barbara Jones, Paula Bruno, Alli Worthington, Catherine Connors set out to do, they accomplished tenfold.
The sessions were informative. Some of them I took away many, many useful things. My favorite panel was ‘A Little Sprinkle of Viral Dust’ and ‘She Works Hard for the Money (And So Do You)’.
Did I say it was amazing?
I had the opportunity to meet even more amazing women. Then to see some of those I had already met. I was most happy meeting my good friends Kat and Patty for the first time. It was like seeing old friends.
The whole weekend with my roomies Kat, Patty, and Deanna was great. They were filled with so many late-night giggles, inside jokes and long convos. Oh and much against my will, lots of yummy treats! I am so happy to have roomed with these ladies and can’t wait to do it again next year!
I got to hear some of the entrepreneurs and Journalists that I admired and respected speak and express their thoughts and advice. Especially those willing to divulge their expertise and ways that they were able to make their business or sites a success.
I met Steven and Chris, Mama Yamma and Jordan Knight to name a few I was over the moon with!
The brands were amazing of course. Kraft and Fisher-Price were awesome. Phillips had amazing lattes, manicures, and massages. Mapleleaf is always phenomenal. I can go on and on about all the sponsors that really did spoil us all. Plus there were tons of products and giveaways.
I also was lucky to have been invited to UsedEverywhere.com’s dinner at the trendy restaurant Table 17. I was surrounded by like-minded ladies and the awesome women behind UsedEverywhere.com. Jennifer and Tish were in attendance.
I was stoked.
I also had my go at making a video with Atomic Spark Productions. Then I had a fashion consultation with Better Styled and a consultation with Impressions PR.
To sum it all up, I compiled a video to show you the awesomeness that was Blissdom Canada 2011.
Up.
I hope that all that went to this conference took what they needed from everything we were exposed to. Whatever you didn’t agree with, you left behind.
Any experience is what you make of it.
One of the coolest things I did was share the stage with Patty. We sang Madonna’s famous hit, “Like a Prayer” and it sure made everyone move! Even though I tend to not post these kinda things, here it goes!
Til then, cheers m’deres!

It was a fantastic time! I loved meeting you guys IRL as well as some of my fave tweeters! I agree there was a lot to take away as well as some that is best left behind. I didn't agree with all of the speakers but to each their own for sure! I can't wait to go next year! Thanks for a awesome time!
I completely agree. I just took what I was looking for and disregarded the rest. The relationships built was one of the best things. Sucks that it's over! I miss you guys!
Sounds like it was a wonderful time!
