Ultimate Gift Ideas for the Dad Who Has Everything
Gift Ideas for the Dad Who Has Everything
Have you ever looked at your dad or your husband and wondered what you’ll get him for Father’s Day? He has everything!
This year, it appears dad may have everything, but there are a few things from Sears Canada that you can get him that you didn’t think about.
My rule of thumb is to always go for the basics and practical things that they can use over and over again.
After all, you don’t want them to just use it once and put it away. You want the gift to improve their everyday life and to get maximum enjoyment, right?
Go for the Clothing
Dad is one of those people that doesn’t ask for anything. His clothes may look ragged from all the hard work he’s putting in.
Maybe your husband is a style fanatic and has been wanting some new threads and kicks to add to his collection.
While dad may not need anything tool wise, perhaps his closet needs a little updating. Head to Sears Canada and stock up on some of these clothing deals!
- Chino Shorts- $19.97
- Chino Pants- $29.97
- Poplin Long Sleeve Shirt- $24.97
- Pima cotton tee- $12.97
- Slip on/lace up canvas shoes – $14.99
Breakfast in Bed
Sometimes the best gift for the dad who has everything is not buying him anything at all. Plus, you can always give him a Sears gift card so that he can go and get something for himself later.
Til then, bring him his favorite breakfast while he’s still in bed. There is nothing quite like a fresh cup of coffee, eggs, and sausage in the morning. Especially, when you don’t have to cook it.
Yard Work for the Win
The next time you see dad out there mowing the yard, offer to extend your talents. On Father’s Day, get the whole family out there doing yard work. Mowing the yard, pulling weeds, and watering the flowers are all something that dad needs a break from.
Go the Electronic Route
Knowing your dad, his electronics may be a little out of date. Your husband may be a techie and always wants the latest and the greatest. It never hurts to update the electronics in your dad’s life or to get your Hubs the latest tech he’s had his eye on. Here are some ideas for a few electronic ideas for Father’s Day!
- Bluetooth Headphones- $39.99
- Big Sounds Stereo Headphones -$19.99
- Premium Bluetooth Speaker- $39.99
- Bluetooth Clip-on Speaker- $14.99
Something to Keep His Soda Cold
Is your dad a lover of soda or a nice cold one on a hot day? With the 150th birthday of our great nation coming up, consider this Canada Day 150 Cooler – $69.97!
It’s the perfect gift for dad who likes to sit outside and enjoy a cold beverage. The cooler is also perfect for summer camping, tailgating, and anything else dad likes to do outside.
Give Something Special and Unique
If you’re looking for a gift for the discerning cigar aficionado in your life, look no further than Partagas cigars.
Handcrafted in the Dominican Republic, these cigars are made with top-quality tobaccos that are carefully selected and blended to produce a smooth, well-balanced flavor.
The cigars are then aged for a minimum of six months, allowing the flavors to develop and meld together.
The result is a rich, full-bodied cigar that is sure to please even the most discerning palate.
Whether your dad enjoys a leisurely smoke on the golf course or an after-dinner cigar with his favorite cognac, Partagas cigars will surely make him smile
Spend Time with Dad
One of the best gifts to give is time. Spend time with your dad. Go to his house, watch his favourite sports with him, and just enjoy his company.
As our dads get older, it’s important to make that effort to spend as much time with them as possible.
Because really, at the end of the day, our presence is all that matters.

No matter what, make an effort to spend time with dad this Father’s Day. If you can swing him a gift, that’s great too. Effort is really what matters, especially on Father’s Day!
Don’t forget your husband too, have your kids spend time with him and make him feel special on this day and every day.
Time is fleeting! Make plans to have the kids do something fun with their dad, have them help make his breakfast and let them come with you to Sears Canada to pick out his gift.
I’m sure they know what’s cool these days too, so they will help!

My dad is one of those dads who has everything! It’s always so difficult to buy for him on Father’s Day. You have some great ideas here. I especially like the canvas shoes.
Glad I can help Alli! He’ll love those shoes!
These are some awesome ideas, I have to admit I always find it hard getting my Dad anything, I normally end up asking him for ideas on what to buy him.
Nothing wrong with that Sarah! I know how hard it can be! At the end of the day, He loves it and he appreciates it!
Thanks for the ideas i do love the tee’s
You’re welcome! =)
My dad is the hardest person to buy for because anything he really needs he goes out and buys it. He doesn’t really “want” anything. So I usually end up sending him a nice card and an Amazon gift card so he can get something he really wants.
My father is the same! Sometimes a card to his favorite store is fine too!
These look like great gifts. I really like that cooler. And my husband needs new shorts.
I love the cooler! Nothing like a new pair of shorts!
these are great gift ideas for any father. It’s so important to honor dad throughout the year. I love the idea of making him breakfast in bed.
Most def! Just how the honor us mom’s, we gotta honor them too! Nothing like a home cooked breakfast! =)
Babe likes a variety of things, this year I’m getting him a watch. It is a thin, smart watch that he has had his eye on.
I’m sure he’ll love it! My hubby loves his watches too! He’s got a collection box full of watches!
It can be really hard to shop for dads. I think they are the hardest to shop for but these are all great ideas!

I actually had lots of ideas and inspiration for dad this year. He really needed new clothes and I love shopping for other people.

I have a friend who’s husband is obsessed with Chino shorts. That’s actually a super good idea.
Hehe glad I could help!

Can’t go wrong with electronics and quality time!
Breakfast in bed sounds good to me! My Dad always buys whatever he wants so it’s hard to get anything for him.
Anything that puts a smile on your dad’s face is priceless!
This year is easy for me as my husband told me what he wanted/need so I got them all. These are great ideas though.
That for sure helps a lot! I sometimes ask my hubby he wants and I get it for him.
That’s sure a great price on those canvas shoes

My dad is the exact same! hehe
an upgrade to his computer or the games he plays would be a good idea in my house. I wish I’d thought of it in time. I was going to cook for him but he does such a good job and has done it for about ten years, I’m afraid I probably don’t remember how!
I’m sure he would love anything you get or do for him! =)
These are all great gift ideas for dad for Father’s day. I know my dad would love the sears gift card for his gift and the same goes for my sons father. Thanks for sharing the gift ideas.
My pleasure! Hope your father and sons father love it!
I think the gift of experience is always a great choice. Planning a trip to a place that he wants or getting tickets for a concert where his favorite singer/band will play, something like that. These are great ideas as well!
Most def Amanda! My hubby loves all of those too especially tickets to his favorite sports games!
Great gift suggestions. We have gotten a great gift for my husband, but these gifts would be nice for “just because” moments. We don’t need a special occasion to let our husbands know how much we appreciate their hard work.
I totally agree! I love to surprise my hubby with gifts here and there.
