Pulled Pork Potato Skins.
With a Touch of Philadelphia.

Kraft has specially blended their Kraft Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia to deliver a soft and creamy melt that will make your favourite meals even better. You’ll probably even be inspired to get more creative in the kitchen because the creaminess and the melt is all you’ll remember when you have a taste of these cheeses.

You can find them in 3 delectable flavours: Creamy Mozza, Creamy Herb & Garlic and Creamy Mexicana. I absolutely adore the melt of a good cheese, I also adore it even more when it’s creamy, gooey and better yet, flavored. I chose the Kraft Creamy Herb & Garlic Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia for one of our favorite recipes.

That is crispy on the outside, perfectly soft on the inside and topped with creamy cheese–potato skins! We get adventurous with our potato skins because they are so versatile. We decided to use some left over pulled pork for this recipe but, you can definitely use bacon or chicken.

Get-Started

Things You Will Need:
  • 8 Small to Medium Potatoes
  • Kraft Creamy Herb & Garlic Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia
  • Your Choice of Meat (optional: I chose pulled pork)
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Scallions
  • Kraft Low Calorie Ranch Dressing
  • Dill Weed
  • Knife
  • Baking Tray
  • Brush
  • Spoon
Serves: 16

Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees, brush a cookie sheet or baking tray with olive oil. Scrub and wash your potatoes thoroughly and cut length wise in half. Brush olive oil onto halves and add salt and pepper to taste. Place on tray and bake for about 30 minutes.

Scoop It.

Using a spoon, scoop out the flesh leaving about 1/4 of flesh inside. Pretty much try to make a little bowl inside the potato, that way you’ll have room to add all the goodies. You can use the flesh for potato soup, don’t throw it away! Brush the inside of the skin with some olive oil and then flip the potatoes and brush the skin and add salt and pepper to taste. Scoop in the leftover pulled pork or your meat of choice. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until the skins are crispy.

Ready the Scallions!

There’s nothing like adding some extra zing, crunch and texture to your food. You can wash and chop your scallions and you can use as much or as little as you’d like. I keep the bunch together and chop width wise to make the perfect chopped scallions to top any dish. In this case, it’s creamy, ooey gooey potato skins!

Add Some Zing.

What sets this dish over the top is the Kraft Creamy Herb and Garlic Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia, of course. But, I like to add some zing to it by topping my potatoes with some Ranch Dill sauce. It’s quite simple, take some Kraft Calorie Wise Ranch dressing and add dill weed. Stir and you’re done!

When the potato skins have cooked through, top the potato skins with a spoon of Ranch Dill and a generous helping of Kraft Creamy Herb and Garlic Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia . Don’t be shy!

Kraft Creamy Herb & Garlic Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia.

Yes, it is amazing. Kraft Creamy Herb & Garlic Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia creates a melt so good, it will be a melt to remember.  You can use a generous amount of cheese on the potato skins. I put it on in a little heap and just let it melt. Ahh, I love when I make a recipe and all the kids can remember is the creaminess of the cheese.

Enjoy!

Once you’ve topped the potato skins with Ranch Dill and Creamy Herb and Garlic with a Touch of Philly shredded cheese, add your fresh and crispy scallions. If you don’t like them, you can always skip them and you can add even more cheese, right? Now, sit back and enjoy–they are filling!
