Shoppers Drug Mart Has It All!

It is where we get our prescriptions filled, get our toiletries and where Mama indulges in tons of beauty products. This week, we headed to our local Shoppers Drug Mart that just so happens to conveniently be 5 minutes down the street. It was time to replace our toothbrushes and we needed a few other small things.

Shoppers Beauty Boutique!

I love that as soon as we walked into Shoppers, there was an Information Centre where we can see the latest deals and promotions. We grabbed a cart and entered the Beauty Boutique. It has actually expanded and become quite sizable within the past few years. This is where I indulge in glorious fragrances, precise make-up brushes and my most favorite Lancôme mascaras and much, much more!

So Many DEALS!

I’m not going to lie but, with Mother’s Day coming up, there are plenty of things that I have my eye on. Like these Coach and Lancôme Gift Sets. There’s also Valentino, Givenchy, Clinique and more!

Fragrances Galore!

I love that even before we’ve entered the main part of the store, I have already spent a lengthy time in the Beauty Boutique, as it’s where I usually like taking most of my time in when I can. There’s plenty of ladies around to ask for a hand and they are happy to help and give you tips on finding that perfect shade or to direct you to new products.

Quality Health and Beauty Products.

I love the Quo make-up brushes and I have to say,  I am always adding more and more to my collection. They last a long time and with washing them properly, you can get plenty of use from them.

The specialists in the Beauty Boutique are more than happy to help and answer any questions and in my time here, I had two ladies come up to me and ask if I needed help.

Time to Shop!

Hubby needed some new razors and there were plenty of options to choose from, he decided on the Balea razors with triple blades. There are many options from disposables to electric.

Decisions, Decisions.

Hubby, Gabby and Michaela all needed to replace their toothbrushes. There were lots to choose from and there were plenty of sales. We also needed wipes for Michaela and they were all on sale too.

I was out of Biore nose strips and guess what? They were on SALE too! You can’t beat red tags and along with the savings, you can bet that the Optimum points stack up as well!

Mimi loves our trips to Shoppers Drug Mart and since she loves brushing her teeth, she was more than happy to pick one out for herself. Together, we chose a Shoppers Life Brand toothbrush that is perfect for her age, perfect size and softness, too!

Budding Fashionista!

Gabby pulled me aside because of the display in one of the aisles. It was a display for Baby Lips by Maybelline and she asked me if she could pick one out. It’s the MUST HAVE for her girls her age, she says–and for $3.99 and in nice sheer colors, why not? Not to mention they moisturizing and age-appropriate.

I love Shoppers Drug Mart’s travel section, since I happen to do a lot of traveling and will be doing more in the coming months, I definitely love the variety they have here that nowhere else does. For example, they have Hubby’s hair glue in a travel size. Last time, Hubby mistakenly brought his glue and it got thrown out at the check point.

A Successful Trip!

When we shop at Shoppers, we take our time and go down all the aisles, I like seeing the displays and checking out all the sales. I love their Seasonal section, their magazine section and their food section of course. You can see my entire shop and what we saw on our trip to Shoppers Drug Mart, here.

We checked out and the lovely Shoppers Drug Mart cashier scanned my card for Optimum Points. Can you believe that I still have the old school, maroon Shoppers Optimum card?

Our Spoils.

So, though it was only a quick trip, we found and bought exactly what we needed at Shoppers Drug Mart. I am waiting to go later on this week when they kick-off their Mother’s Day sale and when you can rack up 20X the Optimum Points! This trip, we saved $12.10 and I earned 300 Optimum Points.

I think I will be buying my Mom a new fragrance set or gift card and I think I may get the Lancôme set with the Hypnôse mascara for myself!

It’s Our Go-To Shop!

The reason why we love Shoppers Drug Mart is because it’s so diverse. We can get Tylenol or Pedialyte or I can go and get new make-up brushes and my favorite premiere make-up. Not to mention that I have had my make-up done here at the Beauty Boutique before and it was superb.

While I get my health and beauty needs, I can also purchase the girls’ favorite snacks, get the cleaning products I need and all while I wait for my prescription to be filled. If you want to see the rest of my shop, check it out, here.
