Scanned into the gym through the @planetfitnessca app, and I'm ready to go!⠀

While walking and at-home workout videos are great, there's nothing like hitting the equipment in the gym. You never know how much you love something till it is gone, and I’m so happy to be back! ⠀
⠀
One of my biggest questions about going back to the gym was, what are they doing to make it safe? ⠀
⠀
It was a pleasant surprise to find out that PF limits their capacity to 50 people at a time, while also being able to see how busy the gym is by going on the app or website and checking the ‘Crowd Meter.’⠀
⠀
Not to mention, since they're back to 24 hours, you can come at whatever time you feel comfortable with and that suits your schedule and your comfortability.⠀
⠀
High-touch areas, like the free weights (𝔂𝓮𝓪𝓱, 𝓘 𝓴𝓷𝓸𝔀 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝔀𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝔀𝓸𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓰 😉) are cleaned every 20 minutes, and you can see the lovely staff doing sanitizing walkaround. ⠀

That's peace of mind for me.⠀

Plus, the sanitizing and cleaning stations are always nearby. I put my mask on, do the regular gym cleaning etiquette, sanitize my hands, and move on to the next part of my workout. ⠀

PF is all about social fitnessing, and I'm all down with it too. It's nice to have enough space to feel safe when working out. ⠀

Treated myself and picked up a new candle and vegan leather scrunchie from @whiskeyjackboutique. The candle smells absolutely divine. 🥰⠀

We've added to our family, and this little girl is so adorable. She's adjusting well and fits right in. ⠀

She's a baby Lionhead rabbit. She's doing so well, and we are working with her to be free roam. At least as much as possible. She's got the litter training box down pretty well. ⠀

The folks at our local pet store were so helpful and got us set up with everything we needed. So, here's to a new journey with this little fluff ball—we are excited⠀

Seriously, @souqyqg made dinner tonight that easy. We truly feasted tonight, and the best part, no cooking for us! ⠀

Souq is celebrating their 2nd birthday, and we won 1 of 5 feast platters. It feeds up to 6 people and has something for everyone. ⠀

Hummus, pitas, fattoush, rice, and delicious meats!⠀

It was ALL good but, OMG—the boneless buttered chicken is to die for! ⠀

If you're in the YQG, do yourself a favour, and skip cooking this weekend. They have dine-in, pick-up, and delivery. Yum! 😋⠀

Even though I am still hanging on to the warmth of summer that still lingers. The leaves are starting to change, and fall is seriously my favourite season. ⠀
⠀
We packed up the picnic basket, grabbed a blanket, and headed to the 'burg for a picnic. After we enjoyed our meals and the waterfront, we headed to Vintage and Vinyl to browse and to pick up some 'new-to-me' vinyl. ⠀
⠀
Then we spent the rest of the night listening to the records, dancing, windows open to let the cool breeze in, and snuggling under a blanket. ⠀
⠀
Mimi couldn't grasp the idea of why D and I were just sitting and listening to music. I guess it's one thing that the younger generation never experienced. ⠀
⠀
For them, it's more of a background thing. We'd spend hours listening to records and CD's or waiting for songs on the radio.⠀
⠀
Music is so powerful, it always brings you back or helps you relive memories you'll never forget. It even helps you create new memories too. The weather is kind of like that too.⠀
⠀
So, here's to picnics, great weather, good music, making memories, and remembering the good ones!
