Our Sunny Getaway at Champions Gate: 1464 Moon Valley Drive Has it All & More! #globalresorts
Champions Gate.
It is absolutely gorgeous.
Our last stay with Global Resort Homes in Florida was nothing short of stellar. This community is starting to boom and the properties are beautiful. This stay, we stayed on 1464 Moon Valley Drive, it was perfect to accommodate our whole family and for us to unwind, work on our tans and have all the comforts of a luxury hotel at our disposal. Except that we would have it all to ourselves. This 7-bedroom, 5-bathroom vacation rental home sleeps 16, so you know that it is a large property. If you scroll down, you’ll see exactly what I mean.
Options.
You have a lot of them when you’re on this property. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a large entry-way and directly to the right, you have the first room. It’s a Queen bedroom with a TV and a mock-ensuite. You have access to the washroom on ground level directly from the room and from the outside hallway. All which are very useful for people who prefer to remain on ground level or older folks who don’t want to climb stairs.
Lower-Floor Washroom.
This washroom is just off the entry-way and is connected to the first bedroom. We used it as one of our main washrooms when we spent time downstairs. Since it is adjoined to the bedroom, it makes for a perfect faux-ensuite for the person who chooses the room! You can’t go wrong with marble sinks and soaps ready for you!
Lavish and Comfortable.
Once you’ve cleared the entry-way, you are greeted by an amazing dream kitchen. If you’re like me, you love to cook and having a kitchen with everything you need to cook up a feast is amazing. This property has all the tools you need to cook up a meal at your leisure. Oven, dishwasher gorgeous fridge, microwave, coffee maker–you got it. Also, you have all the utensils you need and even plastic cups and dishes to take outside by the pool. During our stay, we rented a BBQ and we went to a Publix down the street to buy everything we needed. When we split the bill, it was a quarter of what we would pay at the parks–we saved money!
The breakfast bar was popular for eating and relaxing in the mornings. I caught up on emails and work at the breakfast bar while I enjoyed a fresh cup of coffee and muffin. The kitchen looks out to the main living room and isn’t it a sight?
Quality and Luxury.
Let’s face it, we all like to have a luxurious vacation. We work hard, we deserve it. What I love about Champions Gate is that is exactly that. Check out this gorgeous set-up for family dinners and BBQ, with direct access to the pool too! Our main and King suite was on the main floor just off the main entry. I will show you how gorgeous it is in another post and why staying in a home can allow spa-like amenities and couple time with your significant other. Even on a family vacation!
We also loved how close it was to everything, we went to LEGOLAND and ate breakfast at home before we left, we saved money by doing that alone.

Another Living-Room?
That’s right.
You walk up the stairs and you’ll find a desk and the laundry room, it’s hidden quite well and looks like a closet. Then you walk into the upstairs living room. Equipped with a gorgeous couch, TV and plain comfort. Upstairs you will find more bedrooms, this is where most of the family stayed and they all had their very own rooms.
I made the most of the desk and did some work while the kids watched TV and the others swam in the pool. It was great to have so much room and to be able to do what I needed and have the kids at earshot.
Enough Space for All.
Upstairs there are 5 more rooms, my brother stayed in what we called the Red Room. It had an adjoining bathroom with another room that had two twin beds. There was also a crib for little ones. If you ventured further down the hall, you will find yourself in another room that is perfect for kids. You have to love the nautical theme and the ability to have all the kids in one spot!
The Girls Room.
Gabby and Susana decided to stay in the chic room. Two doubles and a private bathroom and shower. Did I mention a walk-in closet? They made themselves right at home and unpacked all of their clothes for the relaxing week ahead. What I love most about staying a luxury home like this is that it is affordable in groups, you save money on food and you have privacy and relaxation at your disposal 24/7.
Work On Your Tan.
Without interruptions and in the privacy of your own backyard for the week. This is one of my favorite parts of the home because I could enjoy a cocktail, relax and take in the rays. All while I am watching everyone swim and I love that I had easy access from my bedroom right into the deck of the pool. I could hop into the shower right away whenever I was done with the pool that day.
Another reason why I love staying at a Global Resort Homes’ property is the opportunity to wash laundry and to leave for home with luggages full of clean laundry ready to unpack when we get home. By washing before we left, you know that everything was super clean!
Plan Your Stay.
1464 Moon Valley Dr. is absolutely stunning, gorgeously decorated and vast. You have plenty of room to spend time together or to go off and spend time alone if you need to unwind. There are plenty of TV’s and no one has to fight over what to watch and you can always have your fridge and pantry full for the duration of the stay.
If you want to know how my husband and I were able to have a spa-like getaway in our master suite, you’ll have to come back to read our Master Suite experience and to see what other FUN things are on this property, here. Check out 1464 Moon Valley Dr. for your next stay, here.
Have you ever stayed at a vacation home?

I have stayed in several vacation homes on Cape Cod throughout my lifetime. Actually, they are more like cottages, but still fun!
Sounds great. 🙂
Wow, this is such a stunning getaway home! I would totally love to stay here myself!
It is very stunning, that is for sure!
That's so gorgeous. It's always so much nicer to stay at a house than it is to stay at a hotel.
^^^THIS, all this!
That looks like a great place to stay. I always love staying at a house on vacation. It feels so much more homey.
It does and you can just relax after a long day and have privacy.

Yes, their clubhouse just opened and it looks amazing!
I stayed in a Global Resort Home a few years ago in Orlando. Both of my sisters and their families joined us. It was so nice to have everyone comfortably under one roof for vacation. I'm glad to hear you also had a great experience.

Wow- this looks beautiful! I love how the rooms are well decorated, but not too ornate that you don't want to sit on the furniture!

Now THAT is one gorgeous house! Since it's still pretty cold up here in Illinois and I have a feeling it's going to be like that for awhile I could only imagine staying in a place like that with all that warmth and sunshine 🙂

They are always decorated so nicely!
That is one gorgeous place to stay while traveling. As much as my guys like the novelty of a hotel, I know that this is the route I'd prefer for our family.
There is so much room for everyone. Much better in my books!
We stayed in a vacation home in Orlando and it was AMAZING. It was by far our favourite type of place to stay in because we got to hold onto most of the comforts of home!
I completely agree and it is so luxurious!
Looks like a great place to stay! Will have to pin this post for later when I am looking into vacation spots!

That is nicer than my home! I don't think that I would ever want to leave!
I rented a condo in Calgary for a week during the Stampede. It was amazing and so convenient. I love the size of this home and your own private pool is to die for!!!
That sounds fun!
