Give Where You Live.
One of the things that I love about TELUS is that they do just that.

With the holiday season in full swing, they are thinking about our furry friends and the importance of conserving them and their habitats. They’re also very excited to begin a new journey with World Wildlife Fund Canada to help protect wildlife.

This holiday season they’re selling their plush panda critters in their stores for $9.50 with all profits supporting the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Canada.

It’s a gift that goes a long way!

Being an animal lover, giving this gift to our children or loved ones this holiday season makes me very happy.

I know that I am giving back to our Canadian wildlife and I’m also setting an example to my children to continue to conserve our furry friends because they are so very important. You can purchase the plush panda critter in-store or online at  www.givewherewelive.ca!

About the TELUS and WWF Campaign:

TELUS recently entered in to a four-year $1 million partnership with WWF to support the conservation of Canadian wildlife and their habitats.

TELUS has launched a holiday campaign that started on November 18, 2013 and will run through to January 12, 2014 with the goal of raising $250,000 for WWF-Canada. For every tweet and Instagram photo that includes the hashtag #hometweethome, TELUS is donating $1 to WWF-Canada. At the same time, TELUS will donate $1 to the organization with each “share” or “like” garnered on Facebook and givewherewelive.ca. Additionally, TELUS is selling plush panda critters in-store and online for $9.50 with proceeds supporting WWF-Canada.

Since 2000 TELUS, its team and retirees have donated more than $7.8 million to animal and nature related causes.

Give ‘Em Some Love!

Did you know that Across Canada, habitat loss, pollution, climate change and unsustainable harvesting have put more than 676 species at risk of extinction?

That is startling and in so many ways, very sad. I know my husband, girls and I are very excited to take part in this initiative that TELUS has partnered with WWF to achieve. Currently, as of December 12th, 2013, the love meter is at $59, 576. There goal is $250, 000 and we have until January 12th, 2013 to attain it!

Give a Dam.
And a like or share.

Giving back is made super easy and I love how TELUS and WWF are a voice for those who can’t speak.

There are a few out of many causes that I can totally and wholeheartedly support and this is one of them. I feel that our world is definitely tumultuous and that we take, take, take so much from it and very often forget to give back. The beauty of nature and it’s inhabitants is too precious to lose.

You can connect with @TELUS on Twitter and you can head on over to the TELUS Facebook page to “like” or “share” their pictures and you’ll send a $1.00 to the WWF.

How do you give back during the holiday season?

Let me know, til then–cheers m’deres!
