Coleman Canada: Glamping with #Coleman Camp Bistro and Coleman LED Table Lamp!

Glamping with Coleman Canada!

This past weekend we set off for a little day trip into Amherstburg, Ontario. We thought it’d be a fun trip to go and splash in the splash pads, play at the park and cook up some delicious chicken burgers. We took the Coleman Camp Bistro that Coleman graciously sent to us and we were off for the day.

Gone are the days that where you have to settle for cold sandwiches, cold potato salads and the usual picnic items that won’t go bad and don’t require cooking. Now, you can have the comforts of home, away from home and you can cook up your favorite veggies, sausages, eggs, burgers–anything you can cook on your stove at home!

In less than 1 minute for set-up, you can start cooking your favorite recipes at the park, in the back yard or at your favorite camp site. With Labor Day weekend coming up and literally the last few good camp weekends coming up, what better way to end it than with some glamping–Coleman style!

This Coleman Camp Bistro stove retails for $29.99 and is powered by Butane, you will have to purchase a Coleman Butane canister as it is not included. It self-starts and you set this baby up in less than a minute. It takes less than 5 minutes to get hot enough to start sizzlin’ and cooking your favorite dishes.

This stove is meant to be outside only and with a little bit of prepartion, you can have a delicious and easy meal on the go! We prepped our burger patties the night before, placed them between wax paper and brought them in a cooler. We cut up our fresh fruit, packed the condiments and all the things we needed for our little picnic. Also, using a non-stick pan does wonders!

Set It Up!

Setting it up is as easy as 1-2-3! All you need to do is remove the cap from the butane canister, take out your Camp Bistro from it’s holder and open the side of the Camp Bistro, you simply slip the canister in and press down the button to tighten it and you are good to go! That’s all you have to do and to take it down, you wait until it has cooled down completely (It took about the time that we finished eating to cool)  and remove the butane canister and re-apply the cap.

Check out the Spoils!

Hubby was our chef for the day and it took us about 10-15 minutes to cook our burgers. The one-burner tabletop stove is ideal for camping, picnics and one day trips.  Our burgers cooked nice and through and we sat down and enjoyed a nice lunch, splashed at the pad and relaxed the afternoon away.  Other Coleman Camp Bistro features are 7650 BTU, Flame Adjustment Control, Automatic Ignition, No Matches Necessary, Cartridge safety locking system, Integrated piezo ignition, Enameled pan support for easy clean-up, Case included for easier transportation, Lightweight design, Durable Construction, Windshield Protection, Large Base for Stability and lasts up to 1 hour 15 min. on one disposable butane cylinder. After a successful mini-glamping trip, we left at sunset and stopped by for some ice cream. It was a day trip success and Coleman made it happen!

Time to Relax!

After a long but, exciting day in Amherstburg, we headed back home and it was time for Mommy and Daddy to relax. Nothing like sitting outside just to our own thoughts, a nice cold beer or Zevia for me and just listen to the quiet of the outside.

The Coleman CPX™ 6 Soft Glow Table Lamp is perfect to take outdoors where there is limited lighting or when you are camping and it gets dark. It retails for $29.96 and is battery operated, you’d have to buy the batteries as they are not included. This is a gorgeous lantern, it lets off a nice, bright yet soothing light. It also has two settings!

It’s LED so the bulbs never need to be replaced, can be used either indoors our outdoors, is water resistant, high/low settings: bright/nightlight, easy-carry handle and long runtime of 200 hours.
