Well, they say diamonds are a girl’s best friend. While I know there are so many other things that can make a lady happy besides diamonds. A lot of things that are not of material kind but, any girl would love to receive a beautiful piece of jewelery from their significant other, right?

here’s a little background:

Kranich’s Jewelers was established in York, Pennsylvania, in 1903. The company was originally called Kranich Brothers Jewelers. The Kranich Brothers had stores in York, Lancaster and Altoona, Pennsylvania as well as one in Worcester, Mass. The Altoona store opened in 1923. Throughout its history, Kranich’s Jewelers has specialized in fine diamond jewelry. Kranich’s also has stunning engagement lines. Today, Kranich’s Jewelers also specializes in fine timepieces, colored gemstones, gold and platinum jewelry and pearls.

Now, Kranich’s Jewelers has a lot of designers to choose from, like Designer Jewelry, Estate Jewelry, Penn State Jewelry and Fine Crystal. Kranich’s features pieces by Simon G, Verragio, Ritani, Hidalgo, Belle Etoile, Swarovski, Pandora, Gucci, Burberry, and Michael Kors. Ahh!

All that sparkles

While I may like pretty and sparkly things, I’m a simple gal. I think that every woman should have a strand of pearls (or several)  but, at least one to wear with that perfect little black dress or for whenever you want to get primped up. It adds elegance to any outfit and I think they sit beautifully on the neck.

These are cultured pearls which most people get confused and think they are not real. They are very real, they only difference is that the people add a piece of mantle tissue or a round bead is inserted into the mollusk and then the process of depositing layers of nacre around the irritant just as a natural pearl begins.

Gorgeous

While I just “upgraded”  my ring a few months back, I thought I’d add this to wishlist for my next upgrade perhaps. While some people may find it unconventional to “trade up” your wedding rings, Hubby said that every 10 years I could upgrade or choose something else I’d like or keep the rings I already have.

We believe that though the rings are a symbol of our union, it’s far more than that and can’t be represented by merely our wedding bands.

So, I love that we both have the option to change it if we like. Right now, I have a princess cut with a gorgeous enhanced band. But, I always liked this style of ring, it’s so elegant. Reminds me of what royalty would wear. 

Mother and Child

I think this is a piece that I would wear every day, I think the concept is beautiful. It really symbolizes the unbreakable bond that mother and child share. This one is silver and has a .02 carat diamond. They carry other pendants for mothers with multiples or to add all the children in your family. I would need two for my two beautiful Princesses.

There are so many other lovely things on this site that are at affordable prices and while I was joking when I said that Hubby should take note, these pieces are definitely ones that I would purchase myself. Though, I may leave the ring to Hubby. *wink* In fact, I bought the strand of pearls with Swarovski crystals that I used for my renewal online.
