7 Easy Ways to Simplify Your Life!

Raising little people into what you hope will become outstanding adults in society someday can be a daunting task. But, it can also be an incredibly rewarding, heartwarming, humbling and exciting one. Dare I say, chaotic too. Luckily, you can always find small and easy ways to simplify your life when it gets crazy.

Who doesn’t want life to be just a little easier? Every day seems full of chaos and it’s our job as mom to reel everything back in. Simplifying life helps to bring moments of happiness and peace to our family. The biggest question is…how do we simplify our lives?

Here are 7 easy ways to simplify your life. Whether you are a parent or not, read on to discover how possible achieving simplicity actually is.

Be flexible when possible

I understand the importance of planning things out. However, life happens and things don’t always go according to plan. With that in mind, be flexible. Don’t get upset if something doesn’t go your way.

Stay motivated

When I don’t feel like doing something, it makes life just a little harder. Therefore, I find ways to stay motivated. I get a decent night’s sleep, exercise, and find small ways to keep myself motivated.

Have everyone pitch in

As your kids get older, you will notice that they’re able to help a little more and not everything falls on your shoulders. Have the kids and your spouse pitch in, this will really simplify life. Many hands make light work. Plus, you are helping your kids learn life skills by learning to cook, do laundry and clean the house.

Be choosier about where you devote your time

This is one of my favourites. I used to be a person that said yes to everything, but not anymore. I try to be choosier about where we spend our time, which means my life is much simpler. Saying yes isn’t always a bad thing, but I only want to say yes to things I really enjoy.

Instead of keeping a to-do list, keep a list of things that you’ve already accomplished. Use a pretty journal or notebook and you’ll find that this helps in so many ways. You’ll also have record what you’ve done.

Simplify your routine

Getting ready for an hour day can be exhausting. Before you even start your day, you’re exhausted. I have found small ways to simplify my routine for getting ready.  As a spokesperson and #SchickAmbassador, I use Schick Intuition for a few reasons. I get that smooth close shave the first time and that makes me happy. Plus, I never have to use shaving gel and that alone saves me a lot of time.

Best of all, it moisturizes my skin and I cut down my morning routine significantly. Over the years, I’ve found ways to simplify my morning routine, you can read the tips, here.

Keep organized

Life is so much simpler when you stay organized. I like to keep things simple by writing them down and keeping events marked in my calendar. Something as simple as keeping a pair of inexpensive scissors in every room can simplify your life.

Same goes towards keeping your house organized. If you take a little time to label things, organize closets, pantries and more, it makes life easier. Even something as simple as keeping a pair of inexpensive scissors in every room can simplify your life.

Communicate with your family members

I have noticed life is much simpler when you know what is going on. Communicate with your kids and spouse, so everyone knows what’s happening. Life is much simpler without the chaos and confusion that non-communication brings.

Creating a family hub or command centre can help everyone stay in communication and up-to-date with important events, projects and chores.

Make Life Simple.

Apart from the time-maximizing reasons why I use Schick Intuition razors, I also love the tantalizing scents they come in. The exotic scent makes you feel like you have been whisked away to a tropical destination and you don’t even need to leave the shower.

NEW Schick Intuition Island Berry is here and it is exclusive to Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix locations across Canada.

Want to know more about the Schick Intuition? You should know that it has an ergonomic handle, so shaving is super comfortable. There’s a pivoting head that glides with the curves of your body.

Personally, I don’t think shaving has ever been so easy thus life gets easier, right?

Mind = Blown.

Now you’re ready to stop making life so complicated and you can simplify your life with these tips. That leaves more time for you to relish in the small victories within all the chaos.
