Why You Need an Anthrodesk Sit to Stand Desk

When you work from home, your workstation needs to be efficient and comfortable. Our desk and the amount we spend sitting can have many effects on our overall health and performance.

I have worked from home for over a decade and over the years, it’s easy to fall into prolonged sitting during the work day. When you work behind a screen, becoming sedentary can slip into your life without even realizing.

Just recently, we moved and bought a new house. While I gained a studio, I lost an office. So I have a small dedicated space in my room to work from.

This was the perfect time to change things up, and create a workstation that will help me create and maintain better habits and add to a healthy lifestyle.

Enter the AnthroDesk Adjustable Programmable Standing Desk Workstation with Table Top. It’s the ultimate solution to revolutionize your workspace.

You can purchase it for $179.99, this desk offers superb quality and value for the price. Especially when you compare to other sit to stand brands, this is an amazing price!

So with this office set up, I wanted a desk that would help me stand, stretch, and move. As well as having a beautiful and aesthetic desk that is large enough to hold all my essentials, and fit in my space.

That is why I am so excited to share how the AnthroDesk has worked for me and why you are going to want it as your next upgrade.

Boost Productivity with Ergonomic Design

The biggest change I noticed is that I was able to form better work habits, which led to my improved productivity. For example, I use time blocks to set a time limit on each of my tasks.

So, I will answer emails my first hour of work while sitting and then my next time block, I will stand while completing the next task. I will alternate sitting and standing during my time blocks, and doing this has helped me stick to the tasks scheduled.

Aside from improving my productivity, one of the biggest reasons of changing my desk was to improve my posture and reduce neck and back pain.

With the Anthrodesk’s ergonomic design, I’ve become more aware of my posture. I’ve reduced strain on my back and neck with regular stretching and opening up my chest more while I stand at my desk.

Also, by spending more time standing, I can focus on keeping good posture, thus supporting my neck better and feeling less pain and tension overall.

Programmable Features for Added Convenience

It can’t be denied that no two individuals are alike, and neither are their workspace preferences. I can’t even tell you how stoked I am that the AnthroDesk Standing Desk offers customizable height settings.

So, why settle for a one-size-fits-all solution when you can have customizable convenience at your fingertips?

The AnthroDesk Standing Desk comes equipped with programmable features, allowing you to preset your preferred height settings for effortless adjustment throughout the day. Say goodbye to manual cranks and cumbersome adjustments.

With just the push of a button, you can effortlessly switch between sitting and standing positions with ease.

For once, I have a component in my life that I use daily that is catered to my height. I am very short, so going through life, most things are not made for people my height.

This desk, though, literally lets me set it to the perfect standing and sitting height.

So if you’re working on a project that requires intense concentration or in a virtual meeting, you can easily adjust the desk height at the touch of a button.

There is a digital panel with up and down arrow buttons, and 5 settings that you can set to memorize different heights. Once you set a height, you just press a button, and you’re ready to go!

Enhance Health and Well-Being

Sitting for prolonged periods has been linked to various health issues, including obesity, cardiovascular disease, and even certain types of cancer.

Having a desk where you can literally take a stand against these risks is a game changer.

It helps to incorporate more movement into your workday. By alternating between sitting and standing positions, you’ll promote better circulation, boost energy levels, and reduce the negative impact of prolonged sitting on your overall health and well-being.

That’s already a win to me. When I have a really busy work day, I find I sit too much. I often worry that it is having a negative impact on my health.

When my day is over, I’m typically too tired to want to go out and move more, so having the chance to do it while I work is so beneficial.

Or, honestly, if you’re working from home like me, you can walk in place or put some music on and dance—no one is watching!

Plus, with the Anthrodesk, you can adjust the height so you can add a treadmill underneath and get steps in while you work.

I love the versatility of the Anthrodesk in comparison to a desk that isn’t adjustable.

My old desk was brown wood with a white base, and much wider. Its size worked for the space, since I had a whole dedicated room.

With my recent move, I have half the size but, still needed a desk to fit my needs. This time, I went with an all white Anthrodesk, so I can make it pop with my current aesthetic. I don’t know about you, but, I think it looks pretty cool!

Another bonus is that since it’s all-white, I can change my aesthetic and style, and it will be a seamless transition.

Plus, with its spacious table-top, I have ample room to accommodate all my essential work tools and accessories, from double monitors, my laptop, iPad, headphones, and other desk essentials.
