As soon as I saw it, I loved it, especially after reading the story about the little girl behind it. Her mama created this to spread awareness and to teach others about down syndrome and inclusivity. I think it's a message we can all use and apply in our daily lives.⠀

It was gifted to me by a really great kid in my life, and it was so thoughtful. So, a big thank you and hug to you, M! 💚⠀

With virtual school at home, our screen usage is high. The girls use their laptops for school and their phones during breaks or set alarms to stay on track. One thing that is for sure is that they are high touch.⠀

We are sticking close to home this Halloween weekend but, we are in the spirit! That means lots of spooky movies, eating yummy goodies, carving pumpkins, and our first annual Halloween party for 4. ⠀

So, we decorated and we are looking forward to this Halloween weekend!⠀

We aren't trick-or-treating this year but, we are leaving out treats for all the little ghosts and ghouls who do come by.⠀

Scanned into the gym through the @planetfitnessca app, and I'm ready to go!⠀

While walking and at-home workout videos are great, there's nothing like hitting the equipment in the gym. You never know how much you love something till it is gone, and I’m so happy to be back! ⠀
⠀
One of my biggest questions about going back to the gym was, what are they doing to make it safe? ⠀
⠀
It was a pleasant surprise to find out that PF limits their capacity to 50 people at a time, while also being able to see how busy the gym is by going on the app or website and checking the ‘Crowd Meter.’⠀
⠀
Not to mention, since they're back to 24 hours, you can come at whatever time you feel comfortable with and that suits your schedule and your comfortability.⠀
⠀
High-touch areas, like the free weights (𝔂𝓮𝓪𝓱, 𝓘 𝓴𝓷𝓸𝔀 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝔀𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝔀𝓸𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓰 😉) are cleaned every 20 minutes, and you can see the lovely staff doing sanitizing walkaround. ⠀

That's peace of mind for me.⠀
⠀
Plus, the sanitizing and cleaning stations are always nearby. I put my mask on, do the regular gym cleaning etiquette, sanitize my hands, and move on to the next part of my workout. ⠀

Easy peasy.⠀
⠀
PF is all about social fitnessing, and I'm all down with it too. It's nice to have enough space to feel safe when working out. ⠀
⠀
I'm excited to continue working towards my goal.It feels amazing to move again.⠀
