Getting Creative with Kidizoom!
When it comes to children’s toys, you and I both know that there are SO MANY choices! I find that I can go into a store and feel lost as I am walking up and down the aisles looking for a toy for my children or one to give as a gift.
Thankfully, we’ve been avid fans of Vtech toys and I can honestly say that I have never looked back when it comes to kids’ tech (or been lost in the toy aisle again).
My two recent finds include the Kidizoom Smartwatch DX2 and the Kidizoom Action Cam 180. Both these products are for children between the ages of four and twelve and they can help your child learn while using technology at the same time.
The Kidizoom Smartwatch DX2!
The Kidizoom Smartwatch DX2 is a watch that will let your child learn how to tell time, both digital and analog ways, using a customizable watch face. This is a wonderful thing because I find that many children only know how to read a digital clock. Sometimes, they cannot tell the time when they are in school or in a store. Of course, no gadget can do just one thing anymore, and this smartwatch does not disappoint. Your child can also use this watch to take pictures (including those infamous selfies) and videos, and then customize them using an app.

While there are games on this watch, they may be ignored at times, because there is a motion sensor to encourage your children to be active. You can watch your child’s eyes light up as their step count gets higher and higher as they run around the playground having fun. You can even have them use that sensor to challenge themselves during active play and see if they can run any faster than they already were!
The Kidizoom Action Cam 180!
This is a great tool that your children can use to improve their photography and videography skills. Your children can take pictures, selfies, and videos that can then be shown in slow and fast motion. If your child is older, they can attach this camera to their bike, skateboard, and other sporting equipment to capture all the action when they are playing. Imagine being able to capture a glimpse into what your children are seeing as they are having fun and playing with their friends! It may help answer all those questions that they won’t!
