With a family, we have experienced both and that’s why we are excited that a hotel we’ve known and loved has opened in Lake Buena Vista.

It boasts 241 guest rooms and suites and is a Disney Good Neighbor partner and offers tickets and complimentary shuttles to all of the Disney parks. Shuttles can be arranged for Universal and Sea World for a fee.

With the status of the Canadian dollar, many choose to stay closer to home but, Delta plans to continue to offer incentives and hotel savings that will entice patronage.

From 20% to 30% off and Delta Privilege Members have the option to convert to Marriott Rewards Members and reap savings that way. Plus, there is no resort fees to pay during your stay.

One thing that we as a family look for is that the property is clean, has fast Wi-Fi, a good pool and hot tub. The rooms have to be accommodating for our whole family to rest comfortably and one thing is for sure, the room needs to have plenty of outlets to charge our devices.

You’ll find a nifty alarm clock that has been stripped of a radio and an easy dial alarm clock that is set with a touch of a button.

What’s better? Lots of room for outlets on the device to charge your electronics.

Everything You Need.

The completely renovated hotel comes equipped with a Peet’s Coffee where you can get coffees, iced coffees, teas, snacks and much more. You can also purchase breakfast, lunch and dinner. D-Flats is where you can enjoy craft beers on tap, phenomenal flat breads and delicious meals. The Community Table is where you can enjoy a savory breakfast in a more of a sit-down atmosphere.

There are other options that are nearby that you can walk to like Sweet Tomatoes, Perkins, Bahama Breeze, Buffalo Wild Wings and more.

Top-rated golf courses (Walt Disney World Resort’s 4 courses, Grand Cypress Golf Club, Falcon’s Fire, Celebration Golf Club, Hawk’s Landing Golf Club, Shingle Creek Golf Club, Ritz-Carlton Golf Club) and incredible shopping nearby at the Premium Outlet Mall, Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlet Mall and Mall of Millennia are nearby.

Time to Play!

While the parks are fun, sometimes you just want down time. The Kids Room is stocked to the nines with fun things to keep kids busy. The colorful couches are the perfect place to lounge and play video games on the large flat screens. There is a foosball table and plenty of room to sit down and make crafts. The room features PlayStation 4, Wii U and board games.

It is actually one of the nicest kids’ game rooms that I’ve seen and I know that my kids would absolutely love it. It’s a great place to wind down. 

Peace of Mind.

A vast majority of business travellers bring their work out gear but, only 20% actually work-out. The Delta Lake Buena Vista has a 24/7 gym room that will make you weak at the knees. It outlooks the pool area and has gorgeous natural light. Cahill said, “It’s a peace of mind, it’s knowing that you can and it’s there.” Being open 24 hours, 7 days a week, you can stay on your routine wherever you go. The room is equipped with towels, fresh fruit, cardiovascular machines, yoga balls and free weights.

Pool Time!

There is no shortage of fun to be had at the Delta Lake Buena Vista hotel. It has resort-style pools with gorgeous cabanas and a splash pad with a Pirate Ship that is set to open soon. There are plenty of chaises to bathe in the Floridian sun with a delicious drink in hand. If you want a break from the pool, there’s a large hot tub for you to enjoy. 

Cahill knows that travelers need 3 things when traveling. Water, power and bandwidth. On Delta Hotel properties, there will always be free high-speed internet that will be running in the 200, 300 to 400 MB range. Plus, you can always get free water. You’ll always be hydrated and ready for your next poolside selfie at Delta Hotels. 

A New Look.

Along with introducing Delta’s first property in the US, a newly designed logo was revealed. Paul Cahill, Global Brand Leader Delta Hotels & Resorts, went back 62 years to find inspiration. It is simply to say to the 53 million existing loyal customers that Delta is now a part of the family and you can expect the same standard of quality.
