My Little Superhero.

Is it a bird… Is it a plane?  Nope. It’s not Super Man either… It’s Bat Girl AKA Gabby! Last week was Superhero/Villain Day at school and she had a ball dressing up. A little superhero!

And Gabby truly is my little superhero. She’s always there to lift my spirits when I’m down, always there to fluff my pillow and cover me with a blanket when I’m sick and she’s always thinking of others before herself. Best part of it all, she’s exhibited this all on her own and it comes from within her.

She truly makes me a proud, proud mama!

Days like these make me appreciate youth and their ability to love and recognize the simple things in life. I absolutely adore seeing life through the eyes of my children. In what special ways do your kids make you smile? Let me know!

Til then, cheers m’deres!

  1. What a sweet little girl! And she's cute too! Mama, you're doing something right. You should be proud. 🙂 By the way, I didn't get a chance to comment on last week's WW post, but I loved the cars. 🙂

    1. Thanks Kristi, I can only hope for the best! I am very, very proud at the little person she has become. It's something that's beyond my control and that I can only guide but, I'm very happy as to how she's become her own little person. Ohh, hehe, it's okay. I love me my cars! 😛

  2. What a sweet little diva! I love it.

Children's ability to see need and offer assistance amazes me! There's nothing like words of encouragement from a little one. Do they know the power they have?

    1. They truly do have an immense power to brighten your day. I remember when she couldn't even talk yet, with actions she showed she cared. I remember being very sick and at the time had to take care of her, I had fallen ill quite fast and it was just me and her. We sat on the couch and she literally just sat on my lap and rested her head on me and just caressed my arm. She is my little superhero.

      Our kids are great huh?

    1. Awww, thank-you very much. You are very sweet, though I have to add, she is taught many good things from my family. I'm lucky, you know how they say that it takes an entire village to raise a child. True indeed.
