Back to School has come and we are well into starting the school year. That means that continuing to eat breakfast, the most important meal of the day—is even more important! Heck, even snacking is something that is essential to keep your body fueled and moving.
Having two girls in school this year, it makes for busy mornings. Double the breakfasts, snacks and lunches too. Gabs and Mimi are both very high-energy and their normal day consists of either a warm breakfast or a good bowl of cereal to start their day. At school, they have two nutrition breaks and lunch. When they come home, they are hungry and once they gobble up their supper, they get the munchies. It’s always great to have snacks handy, especially ones that they enjoy.

Kellogg’s has come to the rescue with new and favorite types of cereals and snacks! We received a box full of goodies to try out and let me tell you, they were a hit in our home.
Kellogg’s Krave Cereal
This is a family favorite. I have to admit that this cereal, was mostly eaten by me. I don’t know whether to be ashamed or not but, really–it is amazing! The girls love it of course and it is a nice treat for them. Dara loves it just as much as I do, so what that can be summed up to is that you need to get your hands on some. It’s crunchy and the chocolate inside is creamy!
Kellogg’s Special K Granola
My daughters love the granola and I love that I can make them healthy yogurt parfaits with fresh fruits and organic yogurt. It’s a nice treat to top it off with delicious and crunchy granola. It packs a healthy punch, that’s for sure!
Kellogg’s Special K Cereal
This cereal is the one we have been eating, the big kids. I love that you can add fresh fruit and even dark chocolate chips to make it a low-cal and delicious breakfast.
Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Multi-Grain Shapes Cereal
Mimi absolutely loved these! Dry and with milk, the fun shapes are sure to please any little one and the taste will make anyone fall in love. They have no artificial colors or flavors and are fortified with vitamin D.
Pringles Tortilas?
Wait, what?
Yeah, it blew my mind too. They come in 3 flavors, Original, Zesty Ranch and Nacho Cheese. They feel like Pringles, they look like Pringles but, they taste like tortilla chips. One thing I did know was that I was a fan. I loved the Zesty Ranch and Gabs and Dara loved the Nacho Cheese and Zesty Ranch. Mimi loved the original. Perfect for dipping and an after-school snack!
Keeping Them Fueled.
These two little babies are my reason to keep the cupboards stocked with food that will keep them going. Kellogg’s helps us make our day better right from the beginning. I can’t wait until the cereal drives commence at their school so that I can send in Kellogg’s cereals! That way, kids all around the city can have a great start.

Krave cereal, for sure. The chocolate aspect makes it irresistable as a snack. That it's a cereal that can be eaten as a breakfast meal is just a bonus.
