The holidays are upon us and that means there is lots of socializing to be had! There are family celebrations, office and staff parties, kids concerts, galas–you name it! You have to get your legs ready and why not get festive too? Silks has their Holiday Collection that will not only help you celebrate in style but, you’ll look fabulous while doing it. Not to mention, comfortable!
I am a fan of leggings and tights but, I think fishnet can add a dose of glamour to any outfit of dress. At least I feel like something reminiscent of a pin-up when I pair it with a nice pair of heels. Silks has their Holiday Collection that come in three styles as well as their Gentlemen’s Collection also in three styles. All of these options can help you dress it up or dress it down for any holiday occasion that’s coming up!
The Holiday Collection!
What I love about this collection is how fun and playful it is but, it’s also classic and sultry. Above, I am wearing the Mini-Diamond pantyhose and I love how they look and feel! I think they are what make the outfit, I paired it with a nice black dress and I was ready to go! I noticed that it shaped my legs and thighs better too. I love the feel of Silks when you slip them on! With these, you’ll be ready to hit up any party in style!
Options, Ladies!
The rest of the Holiday Collection options are lace-top stay-ups! They are sultry and gives you a more free feeling if you just don’t feel like wearing full panty hose. They have a NEW slip-free comfort band that will keep them up all night-long, even when you’re dancing “Gangnam Style,” you are covered!
What I loved about them was that they did stay and they were comfortable and didn’t slip. The rubber band is very non-intrusive, in fact you kind of forget it’s there. Plus, they give you that extra confidence boost. At least it does to me, I love the feel of thigh highs like these!
The other style is the fishnet hose that are my absolute favorite. Whenever I’ve bought fish net in the past, it has always been Silks. Their control-top will help with all the extra cocktails and mocktails and hor d’oeuvres that the holidays bring and you’ll still look your best!
The Gentleman’s Club.
This collection is inspired by menswear but, Silks has taken them and given them a sultry feminine touch. These control top wide-ribbed tights in this gorgeous burgundy color are sure to make any outfit pop. They are nice and thick and provide a little more thickness between you and the elements. They are soft and plush but, have a great stretch to them. I paired it with a sweater dress and a pair of heels and I was ready for a more casual get together. For an even more casual look, you can slip them on and wear them with flat boots and you’re set.
Pinstripe, baby!
Nothing says more of a gentleman to me than a man in pinstripe. Picture Harvey Specter and you’ll know what I mean about class, sophistication and the personification of what you visualize when you think of the Gentleman’s Club. The pinstripe stockings from Silks are gorgeous and they stand true to their name, they are as soft as silk and feel like a dream to slip on. The other member of that club is the Herringbone, it’s a more intricate take on a pattern and is a bit busier than the other two. I have to say, my favorite was the wide rib and pinstripe!
