They say that sometimes your joy is the source of your smile but, sometimes your smile can be the source of your joy. I’m not much of a smiler, in fact, when I do smile it looks a bit forced. Prep the Paste.
In order to get your custom-fitted teeth whitening trays, you need to make impressions. Smile Brilliant sends a kit with Base Paste and Catalyst Paste. You will mix the two pastes together to activate it. The kit also comes with the impression trays, your whitening gels and the envelope to send your trays off once they are ready.

Bite Down!
After you’ve mixed the base paste and catalyst paste, you must spread it into the trays and then lit it sit for a minute before you bite into it. Position your teeth in center of the impression material to avoid the teeth from coming in contact with the walls of the impression tray. Using your hands you will place the material into your teeth. The impression material should cover your gum lines. Mine turned out pretty good if I say so myself. You can get full steps on how to take your impressions, here.
They Arrived!
I sent off my impressions off, the shipping for International orders is 2-way only and it cost me pennies to send them off. For US orders, it’s 3-way shipping and you pay nothing at all! It took about a week or so to receive them and when I got them, I tried them on and they fit perfectly!
Time to Whiten and Desensitize!
I suffer from sensitive teeth, so having gel that helps lighten that sensation is always a plus for me! It is very simple, you take the tip off of the Desensitizing Gel syringe and put a straight line into the whitening trays. It should be applied for 15-60 minutes, depending on your teeth sensitivity! Then, you are ready to whiten!
I’m Smiling!
I’ve done the treatment every 2 days for 2 weeks. It is simple, you simply remove the tip from the syringe and add the gel to your trays.
While I admit, the red lipstick that I always wear helps them shine more brilliantly, I can’t deny that Smile Brilliant has really brightened up my smile. It’s made this non-teeth smiler, flash a little more teeth these days.
I am going to continue purchasing the gels and using my custom-fitted trays to continue whitening and maintaining a brilliant smile. For only $34.95, you can get three syringes and that’s about 9-12 sessions. That’s definitely maintainable for me!
