Special K.

It will help fuel your #2015Revolution.

We all make New Year’s Resolutions and let’s be honest, not all of us stick to them. Kellogg’s is inspiring Canadians to make a 2015 Revolution instead! While a New Year’s resolution is all about changing something about yourself–a revolution is big, bold, forward-looking and positive! It’s all about a metamorphosis and stepping outside of your comfort zone!

Kellogg’s wants to reward you for your revolution. Starting December 5, 2014, and January 30, 2015, whenever you share your revolutionary goal on Twitter using the #2015Revolution hashtag or on the Kellogg Canada Facebook page, you will be entered to win one of three $1,000 prizes to help them achieve their goal.

A Great Start.

Every year, I always make it a point to start off my year on a healthy note. I can’t say that it is my resolution but, it’s a great reminder to get back on track after the holidays.

One of my absolute favorite ways to start my day is with Special K Chocolatey Red Berries. The crunchy rice and wheat flakes with chocolatey pieces and strawberries are out of this world. Each serving has 110 calories per serving (28 g) and is low in fat, plus it gives you that sweet fix when you are craving it.

On days that are super hectic, the Kellogg’s Mocha Flavour Morning Shakes are the perfect portable way to curb your hunger on the go. It has a delicious coffee flavor and a hint of chocolatey goodness. With 10g of protein and 5g of fibre per serving (296 mL), you simply cannot go wrong!

Stick To It.

Whether your #2015Revolution is to get healthier or to travel the world, you’re going to need the energy to achieve those goals. I say any healthy diet requires a few snacks, after all, it’s about finding a balance and achievable goals.

Make your Revolution Easier.

The NEW Special K Popcorn Chips are delicious, buttery and have an irresistible crunch. You’re able to satisfy your salty cravings with a savoury serving of 20 popcorn chips for 80 calories. If you want flavor, well, Special K Salt & Vinegar Cracker Chips are perfectly balanced with salt and a touch of lip-smacking vinegar flavor. Enjoy a delightful 18 cracker serving for 80 calories.

Once in a while, I get a sweet tooth. Special K crisps always satisfy that craving! The NEW Special K Crisps in Cookies and Cream are absolutely amazing. You can enjoy two light and crispy pastries for 100 calories and treat yourself to a satisfying indulgence–and you don’t have to feel bad about it.

Need a pick me up? Well, the Special K Peanut Butter Chocolate Granola Bars will do the trick. Each serving of wholesome granola with peanut butter chips is 110 calories. With the added protein, this will provide the balance and energy you need to get through the day!

Pack a Nutritious Punch.

This is one of my absolute favorite ways to add fibre, protein, dairy, and antioxidants to our diet. Plus, who doesn’t love a little dark chocolate and a delicious crunch? My girls ask for this all the time and my not-so-secret ingredient? Special K Low Fat Granola. The delicious clusters of whole grain oats and a touch of sweet honey combine to deliver 5g of fibre in each serving and 50% less fat per serving than the leading brand of granola.

It will take away a lot of pressure away from cleaning and maintaining and allow me to focus my energy on more external, fun and social activities. less will be more 🙂
