My Top 5 Must-Have Items.
They make my life, much easier–everyday.

Life is meant to be enjoyed and not meant to be all business. The way I live is, work hard and play hard. I love working hard for the sense of accomplishment and then reaping the rewards later. Not to mention, I love to travel and enjoy the beautiful things in life.

If you look at the world around you, you will find that so many of the products that you use daily are made with petroleum. Whether it is when you get up and get ready for the day, many of your personal care and houseware products are made with it. In fact, a lot of the products you use daily are. Including your car that you most likely use every single day is fueled with gas. The fact is all Canadians, rely on petroleum to make gasoline for cars, trucks, buses, trains, boats and planes.

It is all around us.

My BBQ is one of them. Just this weekend we were outside in the back yard patio enjoying a delicious barbecue dinner. I prepared the food with utensils and plates that are all petroleum-based and then sent them out back to have Hubby grill up our meat on the BBQ. We had an amazing time in each other’s company and we enjoyed a beautiful and warm Spring day. We use our grill starting early-Spring and into early-Winter. It is a must in our home!

My Computers.

Whether you use them for business or pleasure, mine are definitely a huge part of my life. In fact, having computers in our home is essential because I use one every single day for my own personal business.

But, not only for business, I do love using it to catch up on the lives of my friends and family and to engage online on social media networks. That and I do love online shopping! My husband uses it to catch up on sports, movies and to book our next vacation! Gabby uses one for school projects and research.

Get Ready!

Make-up. A part of almost every woman’s world! My day consists of getting up and throwing a little make-up on and getting ready for my day of work. Pictured above, you can see one of my make-up drawers in the bathroom and you’ve guessed it–a lot of them are petroleum-based. After I’ve brushed my teeth and Mimi’s too, we are ready for breakfast (coffee for me) and then I hop on my computer, check my emails and check my to-do list for the day.

Lights, Camera, Action!

My work often involves taking pictures and A LOT of them. Having my DSLR camera is an item that I simply cannot live without. If I didn’t have a camera, I wouldn’t be able to take pictures for my work or capture moments and portraits like the ones above. It is definitely a part of my life I could not do with out. Not only for business purposes but, to capture memories and experiences for years to come.

Foodies Unite!

I am a self-proclaimed gastronome. I love travel, good food, great company and most of all–I love sharing it with the world. Pictured above is a picture I snapped on my smartphone. To say that my iPhone is one of the most important items in my life is an understatement. It is another appendage. You can bet that I share food, travel and just because pictures on Instagram, FB and Twitter almost daily. Not to mention, I share Facebook updates, tweet, pin, stumble and much more right through my phone.

I capture memories with my camera, I answer emails, text friends and family, socialize and so much more with my phone. Truth is, life would be so much harder without petroleum-based products since they are an essential part of our quality of life and activities of daily living. Get more information about petroleum, here.

What are some of your must-have items in your life?

Let me know, til then–cheers m’deres!
