I absolutely love Chicken Soup for the Soul.
You will see lots of these reviews here on Whispered Inspirations because they are always inspiring and heartwarming. You will even get a chance to win a few of them yourself.
Well, this title is obviously no different.
The Magic of Mother and Daughters.
It’s very true, there is such a bond between mother and daughter, the physical similarities, the common interests we share–the ones we don’t, the way that we build a mutual relationship that is based on trust, admiration and most of all respect.
In this book, there are 101 stories that are shared. Stories of mothers and daughters of all ages and you can see the bonds between them. At all stages of life and all types of moms, whether step-moms and everything in between.
In this book, I found myself laughing at some of the moments that they shared, some that I can relate to and others that I simply cannot. Being a mom of two little girls, I have such a different relationship with the both of them. Since they are both completely different and at different stages in their little lives, I’m already seeing a different dynamic in my relationship with both of them.
I am so happy that I have daughters, there’s nothing really like it and on top of that–I’m so happy that they have each other.
What you can expect in the book:

- Cute cartoons throughout the book that will make you laugh.
- Tear jerkers.
Having an amazing mother myself, I’ve come to many realizations. That as much as I hate to admit it, my mom has rubbed off a lot on me whether I want it or not. I share so many morals and values with her, we have similar opinions and then there are some things we will never agree on.
Role reversal hasn’t happened and my mom is such a self-sufficient person that I think it will be a long time if ever she does need me like that.
If that day comes, I know that I will be right there.
It’s refreshing to see the relationships other daughters have with their moms, it’s one of the beautiful things of life. I can’t wait to continue growing my relationship with my two very independent and growing girls.

I really enjoyed this book. Being a daughter and being a Mom of a daughter it was so heartwarming and so funny in some stories too.
My mother has rubbed off on me and I've rubbed off on my daughter. Poor girl.

I loved this book as well, and even had a few tears…okay lots of tears.
My mother loved to read, and she passed it down to me, I love the fact that my daughter is also a reader, love it even more when we can share books together ! This book was great !
