Just in time for Earth Day which is April 22nd, Disney is taking us all on a safari adventure into the forests of Africa. They take you into the life of a young Chimp named Oscar. If you’ve ever seen Disney’s documentaries, you know the amazing and breathtaking footage that they are able to capture. They follow the life of Oscar and his family and truly illustrate the unique and beautiful creatures they are.
Other exciting news is that for every moviegoer that watches CHIMPANZEE in the first week, a donation will be made to JCI Canada in partnership with the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada. This will protect chimps now and for years to come.

In honor of the movie, Disney is launching a ’Like’ Us, Save Chimps” program on the Walt Disney Studios Canada Facebook page today – and they need your help! The sooner they reach 22, 000 likes on their Facebook page, they will adopt 2 orphaned chimpanzees through the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada’s Chimp Guardian Program. The birth certificates will be shared on their wall and YOU can say you made it happen!
