I am a car enthusiast.

Many of you know that I notice a sexy car driving by more than I would even notice the dude driving it.

Yes, it’s true.

Anyway, I was super excited when I found out that Ford Canada was one of ShesConnected’s sponsors last year (and repeat sponsor this year)  and that I’d be able to meet the people behind Ford! I was excited to see what was new with Ford and all the initiatives they were putting forth to make Ford vehicles even better and more useful for their consumers.

I attend the North American International Auto Show every year and Ford never disappoints with their displays. The set-up at SCCTO was no different. Of course there were sexy cars all over and the Ford team was super happy to see us and answer all of our questions.

Each part of the Ford lounge was so much fun, interactive and information-packed. I was happy to find out that Ford is GREEN and uses eco-friendly products to make their interiors.

Did I tell you that I got to self-park in a Ford?

Yes, it parked itself.

Well, ShesConnected is only days away and most of you know that I am attending, I’ve been writing about it all year and so excited that it’s finally here! You can check out all the posts, here.

The whole Ford team at SCCTO was amazing, energetic, always smiling and doing the thing they do best–engaging with bloggers and individuals!

There were so many interactive things you could do in the Ford section, I can only imagine what they have in store this year!

Caraoke was so much fun to watch and you can hear the laughter, see the smiles and hear the singing from a mile away! So, be prepared for tons of fun with the Ford team.

What I am really looking forward to is meeting Ford’s Social Media team, they are always eager to chat it up–whether it’s any questions you may have about Ford’s or even what you are doing on the weekend.

They are super awesome at interacting with Ford enthusiasts and I have chatted with @FordJPAllard, @FordAnsonDixon and @ammar_ammar of course! So, you can tweet them on Twitter or you can engage with them on Facebook.

I’m also very excited to see what Ford has been up to the past year, what has changed, what has improved and how they are making cars even more hot.

I have an older Ford now and I am dying to get into a Ford Edge and if I could, I’d have a Supercharged V8 Shelby Mustang GT500 parked in my driveway. A mini-van driving mama can dream can’t she?

Trust me, I wouldn’t have to convince Hubby.
