The Hip Hop Dance Experience: Drop It Like It’s Hot & Get Moving! #UbiHipHop

The Hip Hop Dance Experience

Drop it like it’s hot.

With The Hip Hop Dance Experience, that is.

The Hip-Hop Dance Experience is the first authentic hip-hop game in the dance category. Dance to the most popular tracks of the genre with original moves designed by the most famous hip-hop choreographers in the industry. Trigger lavish visual effects worthy of the best music videos and avatar customization unique in the market. Experience the world of hip-hop through music, dance and design with The Hip-Hop Dance Experience.

Yes, that!

Well, the game is different if you are used to playing other Ubisoft dance games, the characters actually look real and have features! They show you the dance moves from the back and the front, which I thought was pretty neat.

There’s even REAL video playing in the background of the artist’s song, which is another really cool feature. The moves are more advanced than most games but, regardless–it’s fun and they aren’t too hard on you if you miss moves!

Get Moving!

I am using this as my kick start to the new year to get me moving, I’m not a resolution type of gal but, when the New Year rolls around. I like to work though the holiday poundage and feel better.

Best way to do it is with games like these and this one is one of my favorites so far! What can I say? I love the music and the moves are tons of fun! I’ve had a blast with Ciara’s 1, 2, Step and TLC’s Creep.

See Gabs in Action!

This game will get you moving and grooving to the hottest songs out on the market right now and a lot of your favorite hits from the past. Of course Gabs wanted in on some of the action and she of course can keep up with all the fancy moves.

One thing I will say is that since these are hip hop songs and artists, you have to keep in mind that you have to use your own discretion on the song choices when or if your kids play. The moves are more for adults and the lyrics to some of the songs are explicit.

Bring the dance floor home and dance to 40 genre-defining classics through today’s Billboard hits, featuring hip-hop’s biggest and most exciting artists over the past 30 years.

Perform over 750 dance moves inspired by top celebrity choreographers, Laurieann Gibson (Nicki Minaj choreographer), Kid David (Step Up 3D, Dancing with the stars), and Dave Scott (So You Think You Can Dance, Battle of the Year).

  • In Dance Party Mode, jump in at any time with your own difficulty level and light up the dance floor with your favorite dance partner.
  • Face-off with your friends to a high energy throw-down in the Dance Battle Mode to prove who has the best dance skills.
  • Slow down any move and perfect it in the Power Skooling Mode.
  • In the Dance Marathon Mode, dance to an endless stream of tracks to keep the score moving or it’s Game Over!

Watch IT!

Are you ready to play?

You can get your dance on and burn those cals and kick start your New Year resolution or maintain your healthy lifestyle, all while having fun. Heck, even if you just love dancing–resolution or not! I find it hard to get motivated to do exercise but, this game has a Dance Marathon Mode and it keeps you moving, you maintain your score and you get your heart going!

It’s great!

Buy It!

This game is Rated T and is recommended for older ages. I think some of the lyrics make me cringe if my girls would listen to it but, use the same discretion you would for the radio. This game makes for great nights with friends, parties and for working out!

Does Hip Hop make you groove?

Let me know, til next time–cheers m’deres!
