The holidays are for celebrating and slowing down to enjoy family and friends. During Christmas vacation, reading week and March break a lot of Canadian families jet away and get some much needed R&R. Unfortunately, planning a family vacation is stressful and overwhelming for most of us, sometime so much so that it can affect the overall anticipation of the trip.

I’m a huge advocate of preparing for the unexpected. Creating the perfect packing list is key to having a successful family getaway. While packing light is ideal, I don’t mind packing heavy for things that I will actually use. But, often times, we pack thing we don’t really need and accidentally forget the hidden everyday gems we cannot live without.  Below are some must-have products to include in your suitcase this season. These products are often left behind at home but are huge life savers when vacationing!
