Miss Vickie’s Potato Chips & Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Wines

Miss Vickie’s Potato Chips and Woodbridge Wines.
They are the perfect pair to help you unwind.

Life is busy and after many years together, Dara and I still love relaxing together. While we may not paint the town together anymore and dance the night away, we love spending quality time alone.

While our lives are all about raising our kids and making memories with them, it’s nice to take some time out to just reconnect as a couple.

Just relaxing, watching our favorite programs and cuddling together under a warm blanket. It’s no secret that having the perfect snack and beverage to add to the evening is the cherry on top.

Not sure what to nibble and sip on when it’s time to settle in?

Did you know that 50% of Canadians eat potato chips while watching TV? I know that I love the crunch and flavor of chips when I’m watching my favorite show. Not to mention, 61% of Canadians say they pair a glass of wine with a snack like potato chips at least once or twice a month. So, it’s a marriage made in heaven, don’t you think?

Make the Perfect Pairing.

Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Winery is known for producing consistently great-tasting wines with exceptional quality that deliver light fruit aromas and smooth finishes pairing perfectly with the authentic, handcrafted taste of Miss Vickie’s potato chips. If you’ve enjoyed Miss Vickie’s before, you know that they are made with top quality ingredients and are absolutely delicious. I’m a white wine lover and Hubs prefers red.

Cabernet Sauvignon + Original Recipe

Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi’s Cabernet Sauvignon has rich berry aromas that give this wine a delicious full body. When coupled with the unique crunch and toasty finish of Miss Vickie’s Original Recipe potato chips, they are the perfect pair for an action.

Pinot Grigio + Sea Salt & Malt Vinegar

The crisp nectarine and peach flavours of  Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi’s Pinot Grigio, together with the tangy and refreshingly acidic balance of Miss Vickie’s
Sea Salt & Malt Vinegar potato chips, make for a pairing perfectly suited to relaxing with reality TV.

Sauvignon Blanc + Lime & Black Pepper

The crisp and bright tropical notes of Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi’s Sauvignon Blanc create an explosion of flavour when sampled with Miss Vickie’s Lime & Black Pepper potato chip – the perfect fit for settling in with a drama.

Merlot + Balsamic Vinegar & Sweet Onion

Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi’s Merlot has bright, fruity flavours that come alive when paired with the tangy sweetness of Miss Vickie’s Balsamic Vinegar & Sweet Onion potato chips. This pairing is the perfect complement to unwinding with the hilarious antics of your favourite comedy.

Settle In.

One of our most favorite things to do is try new things together. After we decide on a movie to watch, grab a warm blanket and pour each other a glass of wine–we are excited to dive in. We decided to pair the Balsamic Vinegar & Sweet Onion Miss Vickie’s chips with the Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi’s Merlot. After all, it is perfect to watch while laughing and watching a comedy.

Grab That Bowl.

Sometimes we drop the kids off with the grandparents and make a night of it. We make sure to put our phones away, cook a delicious dinner together and watch a movie. We usually pick a couple of titles or binge-watch a few episodes of our favorite show. Usually around the last one, we are looking for a snack.

Made in Heaven.

Miss Vickie’s has delicious flavors, while you can’t go wrong with the Original and the favorite Sea Salt and Malt Vinegar–my new favorites are the Balsamic Vinegar & Sweet Onion and Lime and Black Pepper. Every chip has a the perfect crunch and flavor and the different notes in the wine really amplifies everything!

Make Time.

So, life doesn’t have to be all about basketball practices, soccer or trying to figure out elementary school homework. Rather, it’s taking the time out for unwinding. It’s scientifically proven that it’s healthy to do so.

Dara and I love each other more and more every day and it’s because we make the time to take weekends away together to reconnect. But, since that isn’t always possible, we decide to do simple things as often as we can. Things like munching on our favorite chips and trying new wines–all while laughing at Adam Sandler or Kevin Hart.
