It has been in our lives for generations.
I am a true believer that zinc oxide, one of the main ingredients in Zincofax, really helps prevent diaper rash. I used Zincofax for both of my daughters; one is now 10 and the other 4. From that first change in the hospital until I changed my last diaper with my now 4-year-old, I used Zincofax. I always loved how it formed a thin barrier against moisture and helped maintain the integrity of that precious baby skin. Since I no longer have any babies at home, I needed to borrow a little bum to test the Zincofax on! Luckily, I have a friend who recently had a little one and who I had turned onto Zincofax. She was all aflutter to discover that there is now a spray version and willing to let me try it out. We shook the bottle well and sprayed liberally to all the parts that needed it. It sprayed pretty evenly and, because I am a bit obsessive, I used my fingers to make sure the layer was even, though I don’t think it was needed.
If you are worried that it is to cold to spray on, I tried it on my wrist and it was not alarming or cold. I think that the Zincofax Spray is perfect for when you and baby are on-the-go. How awesome is it that you can be in a public washroom changing baby and can achieve all the protection of a cream without the mess. I’m elated for this!

Now that I look back on my own journey on raising a baby, I was lucky enough to never experience the toils and troubles of diaper rash. But, maybe it wasn’t luck after all. Rather, it my use of Zincofax, a reliable, protective and effective secret weapon for any mother! We still have it in our home for our harsh winters and for the dry skin that can result from a little too much summer sun.

My niece had the absolute most horrible diaper rash problems. I mean, it was welts on top of welts. My sister told me horror stories of the way she screamed when they had to put the ointment on. It physically hurt me to hear those stories. =(

This is brilliant! I sure wish they'd had a spray when mine were little. We used Penaten, a thick paste like cream and I often felt it hurt me more than them when I had to put it on a sore, red bum.
