Unplug & Make Memories at Ontario Carefree RV Resorts This Summer! #BeCarefree

Ontario Carefree RV Resorts.
Where it is all about making memories.

Let’s be honest, with the digital age, it is incredibly easy to get lost in the online world. So much so that we often forget to take a look at what is around us. This year, we plan on going camping, unplug and reconnect as a family.

I know my husband is looking forward to tranquil lakes and prime fishing while I hope to soak in some sun and have the girls make sand castles by the beautiful shores of Lake Erie. We plan on putting away the smartphones, shutting off the tablets and really enjoying one another.

I know I plan on taking nature walks and discovering the eco-systems that exist all around us. Ones that we often forget to notice.

Let the Adventures Begin.

Whatever adventure you chose, whether it’s making s’mores and telling ghost stories or sunbathing by the lake; Carefree is here to welcome you for a day, week, season or a lifetime. They have available RV sites, rental cottages or cabins and even vacation homes for sale.

Our girls have never really experienced an authentic camping experience and Dara and I would love to get away from the daily and busy bustle of life. Carefree RV resort can give you that good old-fashioned camping adventure.

We don’t own an RV but, for those without an RV like us, Carefree has a range of rentals available including rustic cabins and vacation cottages. So, you’re covered!

Make It Count!

I know that we have an eye on a few sites to make our summer and lifetime memories! With 15 resorts, there are plenty to choose from. I’ve narrowed down a few locations and I think they sound pretty fabulous. Since I am located in Windsor, I am able to go to the US too.

More Info:

On the beautiful sandy shores of Lake Erie, Sherkston Shores resort offers 560 acres of beautiful landscape, topped off with two and a half miles of sandy beachfront. Keep yourself busy with pools, waterslides, splash pad and a quarry stocked with fish. Just 90 minutes away from the Greater Toronto Area and mere minutes away from the US border, Sherkston Shores is a fabulous vacation alternative that offers so much more. RV sites, rustic cabins and a range of vacation cottages are available for rent.

Located just 20 miles of both Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan — Willowood is a top destination for both U.S. and Canadian families. We have 329 RV sites with fire rings as well as cabin and park model rentals available.

Willowood family-friendly grounds feature a playground, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball courts, an outdoor movie theater and miniature golf course. Their guests keep cool relaxing and swimming in their large pool, their kiddie pool and their splash pad area. There’s even an arcade room to entertain the kids on rainy days. They also pride themselves on providing a whirlwind social calendar that includes story time, chocolate bar bingo, crafts, potlucks, dances and movies. And don’t forget to take a hay ride with their Carefree characters – Benny Beaver and Suzie Squirrel.

I know that I am ready to slow down, feel the cool breeze and watch the sun set over the water. Not worry about a single thing and just be carefree.
