It’s also a medium to help me produce and share my creativity with the world. I absolutely adore Instagram and you can follow my feed, here. With that said, you can bet that I am always looking for ways to improve my iPhone photography and to help me capture my experiences and memories in the best way possible.

I went to Miami for a food blogger conference and I was stoked when Photojojo sent me a few companions to take with me. Pro-lenses for my iPhone? Well, count me in! As much as I love my DSLR, there’s simply nothing like pulling out my iPhone and capturing a moment as it happens–it is amazing!
About Photojojo Lenses:
Each lens is crafted out of solid aluminum and outfitted with thick, high-clarity glass. They’ve been factory tested by hand and inspected to ensure the utmost optical perfection.
Android phone lens, iPhone lens, iPod Touch, iPad, Blackberry, MacBook … our lenses work with any phone or device that has a lens on it, even if you use a case.
How it works: each set comes with an adhesive removable metal ring. There’s also a special metal plate that’s designed to perfectly match your iPhone 5/5s. The ring (or plate) sticks to the back of your phone, and the phone lens attaches magnetically. Snap it on and off in an instant!
Wide Angle/Macro Lens.
With it, you can take pictures of big long cityscapes, humongous group shots, entire rooms of Facetime footage and more. Then, simply unscrew the top of the Wide Angle Lens and you have your very own Macro Lens. I love how it is 2 in 1 and it truly caters to all of your needs. I used the Wide Angle tons and loved it since it allows me to show more in a picture. This lens can be purchased for $20 individually or be purchased in a package.
Telephoto Lens.
Digital zoom kinda sucks. Let’s be honest, once you start zooming on your phone, all you will see is pixelation, noise and just unusable images. With the Telephoto lens, it will help save you from perpetual pixelation. With it, you’ll be able to get 2X closer to the subject of your photo without moving or tapping.
For me, it was perfect to take pictures of my kids when they are playing far away from me and I can still get a nice and clear picture. If you see a picture in my gallery below, you’ll see I used it when my daughter was in a splash pad and I didn’t want to get too close. This lens can be purchased for $20 individually or be purchased in a package.
Fisheye Fun?
Photojojo describes it best by saying that Fisheye lenses takes pictures in 180°. The image will be less distorted, but still have that distinctly fishy look. It provides real deal hemispherical views that make everyone look like they’re living in a bubble. Like rolling a panoramic shot into a snowball! I still have to get a bit more practice with this lens to perfect the shot, I found this lens a bit trickier to use. This lens can be purchased for $20 individually or be purchased in a package.
The World Around Me.
I love that I can take my lenses with me, wherever I may roam. I just place them in my purse and I am good to go. The gallery above shows you some pictures that I’ve taken using my lenses and a lot of them were for my trip in Miami. I’ve since taken tons more and will continue to use them because I am hooked!
There’s nothing more easy than simply attaching a lens via magnet on my iPhone. They actually just released magnetic plates for the iPhone 5 which makes it even easier to attach lenses. It really is simple, the only thing is you’ll have to find a case that accommodates the lens, they DO exist. I used a nice bumper and it left my iPhone camera accessible–all for the love of iPhoneography!

Those are really cool, yet I'm a case girl and mine is so hard to get on and off, so I wouldn't want to do so all the time. Anyway it works with cases?
Well, it was hard to find a case that works with it. I used a bumper that protects the edges but leaves the back of the phone free. I am a case girl too but, I am just really careful now!
These would be up the versatility of the phone ten-fold. What a great idea.

I've never heard of lenses for a phone before – what a great idea. It turns your phone into a better camera. I'm always a bit disappointed with photos I take with my camera, photos are too far away, depth of focus too great etc etc. I think these will be a money maker 🙂
