Back to School with Sears Canada.
Summer flew by so quickly this year, while we are still in summer mode, there is no doubt that the “Back to School” season has crept up on us this year. We are 2 weeks away from starting the new school year and while I am feeling a bit melancholy about it, my girls are excited to go. Mimi will be starting school for the first time and Gabs will be entering her 5th year. Our goals this year are to maintain good grades, learn lots and have fun.
The Diverse Student.
Gabby is an athlete, she’s an artist and loves to participate in plays, she maintains an A average and has fun. So far, she has been able to succeed academically and we couldn’t be prouder. This year her goals are to get more involved in the Arts and audition for a bigger role in the school play and to play more competitive sports. She also plans to collect more for the cereal drives at school to help the less fortunate.
Since she is so versatile, I think this rubs off on her choices in her wardrobe. Every year we head to Sears and pick out the year’s wardrobe. I love that Sears carries a variety of top quality brands at reasonable prices – and carries all the styles any kid loves! Gabby loves the trendier styles that consist of printed tees, skinnies, cute boots and accessories. Leggings and long shirts are a must! But, the athlete in her loves sneakers, yoga pant, and hoodies!
Surprise & Delights!
This year, Sears Canada (The Kids Room) will be and has been, helping families with school-aged children get ready for back-to-school so they can Rock the Halls! Across Canada, they’ve been surprising shoppers by providing their purchases to them for FREE! Can you imagine that? I would be absolutely stoked to get this surprise!
If that isn’t awesome enough, Sears Canada and Converse will be providing the GBCC with $10,000 worth of BTS Apparel! Sears Canada has been a proud supporter for over 40 years of Boys and Girls Club across Canada (BGCC), Canada’s leading provider of quality after-school programs that support the healthy physical, educational, social and mental development of Canadian children and youth.
Sears shares Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada’s philosophy that providing all Canadian children and youth with access to opportunity is essential to helping them achieve their full potential and create a better future. Now, this is a brand that I can totally get behind!
What item is on your child’s must-have list this year?
Let me know, til then–cheers m’deres!
