How to Recover Quickly from March Break

March Break always feels like a whirlwind. Whether we go somewhere sunny or have a staycation doing activities with the family–everyone is always a little exhausted when the week is over!

Sometimes we need a vacation after our vacation, right?

Since we don’t always have time to recover before the next week starts and we have to be back in action at school and work, I make sure I have a couple of revival tricks up my sleeve to get us back to feeling like ourselves again.

Kids Feeling Whoozy?

Sometimes after or during a busy week, your little ones may be left feeling a bit whoozy. GRAVOL Kids™ Dye Free Quick Dissolve Chewables come in very handy when this happens.

They help prevent and treat nausea, vomiting and dizziness from motion sickness.

That is why I always like to keep an 18-count pack in my purse. Especially in the case one of the kids gets car sick, feels nauseous on plane rides or eats too much when we’re out for dinner.

You’d be surprised how those tummies can get upset.

Sometimes half a chewable is all they need to get back to enjoying the day. If they’re really not feeling well, I can give them one tablet every six to eight hours as needed.

Dosing amounts can vary by age group, so I read the dosage instructions carefully to figure out what’s best for my little ones.

These chewables have a yummy orange flavour. Believe me, they taste way better than what we had as kids.

They dissolve so quickly that your kid likely won’t even ask for water. Gravol is essential when we’re on the go and when we’re on the mend — my kids and I actually love them!

Plan Vacation with Acclimation Days

Even if it just one extra day to kind of get back into the swing of things. Meal prep, make lunches and get everything you need for the week to come. Sometimes, it helps mentally and physically just to rest for at least one day before we start our “lives” again.

Deal with Jet Lag

If you’ve been away for March Break, deal with jet lag by easing back into your routine. Especially if you’ve been in different time zones.

Get rest when you can but, try to adjust to your time zone.

Go outside and get some sun and it will help.

Bye-Bye, Pain

When I’ve been on the go all week and I finally sit down after a busy week of fun with the kids, my muscles feel so achy! As a mom, I don’t usually have a lot of time to relax.

I rely on RUB A535™ Anti-Inflammatory Cream with Arnica for quick relief.

It helps so much when I apply it right on the spot where my sore muscle hurts. It even helps if I’m having joint pain and works so fast too! I love anything that starts to work instantly so that I can get back to living and enjoying life.

Plus, it’s not greasy like some other products and I don’t have to worry about it staining my clothes. I like to keep one at home and one in my purse for when I am on-the-go!

Don’t forget to ease into healthier eating and drinking plenty of water. This will help you recover quickly from a whirlwind week of fun and maybe a little indulgence too!

What do you use for fast recovery after a busy week of fun?

Let me know, til then–cheers m’deres!
