The Toyota i-ROAD: Green Technology That Could Change How You Drive in The Future. #tech

Toyota i-ROAD.
Small but mighty.

I don’t know about you but, as the years pass by, I notice more and more congestion in our cities. It’s as if everywhere I go, there’s a line-up, there’s a traffic jam or parking is nearly impossible to find.

And I live in a medium-sized city.

I can attest to our neighbors in Toronto, that the commute is ridiculously crazy because, well, I’ve been stuck in their traffic every time I visit.

I’ve always been an advocate to take the essential steps that you can to live a greener more eco-friendly life. I’m a firm believer that any change is good change. Could you imagine the difference that green technology could make in your city?

Enter the i-ROAD.

This is not just a car. It is the combination of public transportation systems and ultra compact EVs. With the i-ROAD, you will reach your destination the smart way. Next generation transportation networks efficiently link up diverse forms of mobility. This enables a new style of transportation that places minimum stress on people and the environment.

Design.

Recently, there was an i-ROAD test drive event held in Ecoful Town, Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The local residents who participated were all amazed at the new drive experience, different to any other vehicle. After an introductory orientation, they drove the i-ROAD on public roads and felt total unity with the EV, an exhilarating driving experience.

The three-wheeled vehicle features an electric motor and measures 33.5 inches wide, 56.9 inches high, and 92.5 inches long. The i-ROAD has a fully enclosed cockpit and fits two people. That or you have space to carry anything you need to while commuting.

For me, this would be excellent to avoid the traffic while I drop my daughter off at school. If everyone were to use these, the traffic would be more organized and the city’s pollution–less.

The freedom of Smart Mobility is just around the corner.

Although this car isn’t in production yet, I would absolutely love to see them on our streets soon. What an amazing way to get around and a great way to help the planet and make a significant difference too.

Would you consider driving the Toyota i-ROAD?

Let me know, til then–cheers m’deres!
