Back to School with Sears: Finding Fabulous, Stylish and Fun Clothes for Back to School! #SearsMomBTS

Back to School with Sears.

Ah, Back to School time is always a bittersweet time in our household. More so, for me and my Hubby, I guess you can say that we are those rare parents that enjoy having the kids around as much as we can. You won’t find us dancing in the streets! So, summer vacation is always too short in for our liking, that doesn’t go to say we don’t enjoy quiet time. But, another year means another year that my littles are getting, well–not so little!

Shopping!

We had the wonderful opportunity to head over to our local Sears and their new and improved The Kids Room location to do some Back to School shopping! We were pleased to find most of Gabby’s entire wardrobe in one trip and there were so many options on super fabulous clothes. You can check out our shopping trip that is pictured above!

Shopping Spree!

When I said Shopping Spree at Sears, I didn’t have to say it twice with Gabs. Gabby is a self-proclaimed fashionista who absolutely loves cute, fun, pretty, casual and edgy clothes. She has her own sense of style and she truly inherited the I-need-those-boots syndrome from her mama.

Picture Day Ready!

One of the first things that Gabby wanted to look for was a pretty dress for Picture Day. When I shop for the girls’ clothes I make sure to find pieces of clothes that can be worn in all seasons, either be wearing it as it is or dressing it up with other pieces in her wardrobe already to make it suitable for the weather. This dress is perfect for warm weather and can be easily made into a fall outfit by adding a cute blazer or denim jacket and worn with boots. The dress above is from Newberry and they make gorgeous dresses for Sears!

Colors That POP.

There’s nothing like that feeling of wearing new shoes, new clothes and filling up your backpack come back to school. I remember fondly of getting dressed up and that bubble guts feeling of both excitement and fear of the unknown in my tummy. This fall, we chose bright colors that pop and stand out. This teal almost seafoam color is totally IN and it’s one of Gabby’s go-to colors. This cute outfit is perfect for school, it can be worn with different tank tops and bottoms.

Change It Up!

What we loved at Sears was that the clothes they offer are just as versatile as my very extroverted and fashion-loving 9 year-old. She wanted outfits that were pretty and dainty and outfits that were sporty and fun with a rocker edge. Yes, that’s what she said. I, on the other hand, wanted outfits that were age appropriate, fun and easy on the wallet. The cardigan pictured above is beautiful and can be worn formally or casually like Gabby is wearing it above. She loves her cardis!

Sears-07

Super Trendy!

What we loved about the clothes were that that were trendy. Especially Gabs, she loves belts, necklaces and skinny jeans! We bought two of the same shirts but, both had different tank tops inside. They were from Girl Confidential and both came with braided belts and a necklace. These pieces are so versatile and can be worn in so many ways!

Sears-08

Stylish!

This is the other top from Girl Confidential. It came with a cute heart-shaped necklace and Gabby paired it with a cute bow headband and sported her new prescription glasses for this look. For demonstration purposes, she wore the pair of jeans she bought from Sears in most of the outifts–which fit like a glove!

Sears-10

Casually Urban.

I think Gabby’s go-to style is a nice pair of skinnies, a printed tee, cute vest and accessories! This look was created by her skinnies, her favorite vest and a super cute Disney printed tee from Sears. I think it looks very couture and not so baby-ish (as Gabby would say) and she rocked it! We were able to get such great deals when we visited because everything was up to 50% off even red tag clearance items! If you didn’t have a Sears card, you still got 40% off. Pay from $3 to $5 for items is outta this world!

Sears-11

Be Confident.

I love how confident Gabby feels in her new back to school clothes, especially this outfit that she loved. I’m happy and confident to find out that if you shop at Sears, you can count on the KidVantage guarantee!

About Kidvantage:

The Lifetime Wear Out Warranty covers children’s apparel and footwear as long as a child in the family continues to wear the size. If the item wears out, Sears will, at its option, either repair it or replace it with the identical item in the same size, or if it’s unavailable, a similar item of equal value in the same size. It covers children’s apparel sizes from infants up to 18, and footwear up to senior kids’ size 6 .

Get Sporty!

We were excited to find Converse at Sears and we were able to get this cute piece that she absolutely loved and it was on SALE. We paired it with super fabulous heart embossed tights, we paid full-price for them but the versatility is endless! You can wear this crop top with jeans, jogging pants or tights. Depending on how you’re feeling, the possibilities are abundant!

Sears-12

Cut The Rope.

I think this is one of Gabby’s favorite looks, she loves Om Nom from Cut the Rope and Sears has tons of printed licensed tees! She coupled it with the heart embossed tights, her favorite shiny head band and her boots. Not to mention, she threw on her glasses for good measure.

Sears-13

Back We Go!

I think one of our best purchases was Gabby’s new Reebok backpack from Sears. It was a steal, at $27.99 with 30% off, we walked away paying only $20. For a trusted brand like Reebok, we were very happy! She loved the colors and all the pockets and I love that it is durable and made strong to hold her things.

Price-Match Guarantee:

Sears will not be undersold on any children’s apparel, footwear or nursery furniture and juvenile products. We will match a competitor’s advertised price on identical items within 30 days of purchase, or 90 days on purchases made with your Sears FinancialTM Credit Card.
