Belle-Inspired Make-up Look

Last month, I had the pleasure of attending the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration and we were able to see a sneak peek of Beauty and the Beast which is in theatres now!

I am a huge fan of Beauty and the Beast and I bet you didn’t know that my wedding song was ‘Beauty and the Beast – Tale as Old as Time’, huh?

We also had the opportunity to see the cast’s props and costumes, sip Twinnings tea, preview The Shopping Channel’s Beauty and the Beast line and even see THE rose itself.

We got to meet with Neutrogena and all the magic inspired me to try out their gorgeous Belle’s subtle look and share it with you all. So, here is my Belle-inspired make-up look.

CNN’s Erik Cuesta was there too and he was there alongside Neutrogena. He was on hand to help us choose our perfect shade and get a little makeover if we so chose.

We were given some Neutrogena goodies and instructions that have been put together to achieve the perfect Belle look!

Of course, I had to share it with all of you! Read on, to get this everyday and natural look.

1. Complexion

Start by applying Neutrogena SkinClearing® Liquid Makeup in the center of the face with your fingers. Blend outward with a damped makeup sponge for an even, sheer, and flawless application.

2. Lash Line

Use Neutrogena Nourishing Eyeliner in ‘Cosmic Black’, define the upper lash line by creating a tight line that begins in the inner corner of the eye and ends at the outer corner.

3. Eyes

Apply the Healthy Volume Mascara to plump your lashes up to 400%. Using Nourishing Longwear Eye Shadow + Built-in Primer in ‘Mink Brown’, start by applying Shade 2 all over lids.

4. Lips

Nourish and prime your lips with Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Treatment 20 minutes prior to applying lipstick. Define lips by applying Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick in ‘Classic Red’.

5. Blush

Apply Neutrogena Healthy Skin® Blush in ‘Rosy’ on the apples of the cheeks, temples, the tip of the nose and chin for a healthy glow.

Beauty is Found Within

I love the formula of the Neutrogena MoistureSmooth colour stick. It applies smoothly and feels velvety on your lips. The shade is much lighter on your lip than it appears. You have to reapply after meals.

The eyeliner is right on point, it glides on easily and it lasts all day long. The Healthy Volume mascara is infused with olive oil and it gives you thick and curly lashes. I didn’t even have to curl them and the formula is very smooth as well.

This Belle-inspired make-up look is fun because it is natural and inspired by one of an all-time favourite Disney movie. To make the look softer you can skip filling in your brows, I didn’t include it in the instructions because thick brows aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. But, for me, eyebrows are everything.

After getting a sneak peek in Orlando at Disney and then watching the film again here in Canada has given me BATB fever. It’s such a fun movie and while it is familiar, it’s different.

Want a few more BATB-inspired reccos? I have two for you. Upon returning from #DisneySMMC, I found this Luxe Bloom Beauty and the Beast rose waiting for me on my doorstep.

This rose stays alive for up to 60 days and it’s gorgeous, no? I am in love with this Royal Albert Beauty and the Beast-inspired dish that I want to grab the whole set.

Emma Watson rocks the natural look and this routine won’t take you more than 15-minutes. That leaves more time for reading and tea, yes tea! Or if you’re like me, work. If you’ve caught the fever, you can rock this look whenever you’re feeling like Belle.
