Disney The Pirate Fairy.
Thrills, magic and… pirates!

The girls are absolutely in love with this movie and have been watching this non-stop for the past week! That, along with many other Disney favorites. But, this story is a great one. It shows the story of one fairy and how circumstances can change someone’s fate and how friends can bring you back to the right path.

Personally, I love this movie because of the story and the fact that Tom Hiddleston (self-explanatory) and Christina Hendricks (my girl crush) do a magnificent job at voicing Zarina and James. In fact, after seeing the behind the making of “The Frigate That Flies”, I am convinced that Hiddleston is genius and amazing at voicing characters. He sings well too. I hope he does some more voice work because he is brilliant.

About Pirate Fairy:

From the world of “Peter Pan” comes “The Pirate Fairy,” a swashbuckling new adventure about Zarina (voice of Christina Hendricks), a smart and ambitious dust-keeper fairy who’s captivated by Blue Pixie Dust and its endless possibilities. When Zarina’s wild ideas get her into trouble, she flees Pixie Hollow and joins forces with the scheming pirates of Skull Rock, who make her captain of their ship. Tinker Bell (voice of Mae Whitman) and her friends must embark on an epic adventure to find Zarina, and together they go sword-to-sword with the band of pirates led by a cabin boy named James (voice of Tom Hiddleston), who’ll soon be known as Captain Hook himself. With laughter, heart, magic and thrills, “The Pirate Fairy” sets sail April 1, 2014.

The Pirate Fairy.

I love the fairies, probably just as much as my girls. I think Zarina is one of my favorites, she’s smart, headstrong, passionate and ever-curious. She also has some pretty cute threads, if I say so myself. I love that even though she makes a mistake, she makes it right.

I also love the very familiar characters that you will discover in this movie and truly appreciate how they tied together a classic tale into the Fairy movies. Also, who doesn’t love Crocky, he is absolutely adorable! It hit stores on April 1st, get your copy of The Pirate Fairy [Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy] TODAY!
