Happy Birthday to The Most Amazing Father & Husband—Darasak

Nancy and Darasak pose and look at the camera. This article wishes him a Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday

Another year full of blessings, another year of life. With every Birthday that we share together, makes me appreciate our journey thus far.

I couldn’t ask for more.

I am blessed and thank God every day that I am able to wake up to this man. After all of these years, our love has not only grown and flourished but, it continues to intensify as we get older together.

A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person. –Mignon McLaughlin

Dara and I were only 21 or 22 in the picture above–I remember every single moment we have had together. I think, here we were at Ontario Place with Gabby, who was only a toddler then. Ever since then we have traveled, made adventures and memories, and we continue doing so with Michaela.

Our family is complete.

Even though I feel somewhat of a failure because I can’t provide another little one to our family how we had planned (due to Nuvaring) and I still have a hard time with it. But, I’ve always had been a firm believer that everything happens for a reason.

Whether we see it or not right away, things fall into place.

I’m just blessed to have had our two girls before the ability of having more children was taken from me. Hubs has truly been my rock throughout this whole ordeal and even though we may not have another bambino, our family is complete.

We have our health, we have a home, and we have each other.

I’m so thankful that he has been my biggest supporter in everything I do, whether it’s my job, this here little blog of mine, on social media, my health and all of my dreams and aspirations in life. I can only hope that I have been as good of a partner to him as he has been to me.

So, Happy Birthday to Super Dad who does it all–really takes an active role in being a husband, father and best friend! I feel terrible because tomorrow is the last day before I head to Toronto for Shes Connected, and he so graciously encouraged me to go, even though it is his Birthday weekend.

Can you all join me and wish this special man a Happy Birthday for me?

Til next time–cheers m’deres!

  4. Nancy, you are very blessed to have the man you do. I just read about your journey to getting better after PE. I'm so glad your Dad told you to go to the ER. And you'll just have to make up for this weekend next week when you get back! I'm sure your darling husband will love celebrating then just as much he would have this weekend.
