I’m Afraid of Cats

Shh, I Am Afraid of Cat, Here's Why.

I’m Afraid of Cats

So, for those who know me, know my intense loathing of felines.

Or how I refer to them as the devil’s servants.  But, as of late, Hubby and I have grown to feel some sympathy for these creatures.

Here’s the story.

Our neighbours own a few cats and for some non-apparent reason, they decided to kick one of these tabbies out of the house. A house cat forced to become a street cat.

For the months that have passed, it seemed okay since the weather was nice, yet it would always be trying to get into our house.

Or hide under our cars.

The other day when there was that cold Autumn drizzle, instead of curling underneath a ledge from the rain, it lay right in the open. Almost in defeat. I felt terrible and so did Hubby.

I felt like I wanted to do something for this cat and Hubby was gonna make a home for it or some kinda of shelter for it to stay out of the cold.  Just when we decided to do this, the cat disappeared.  I haven’t seen it for a few days. Either way, if it comes around again me and Hubby will have to do just that. I can’t take it in though. Remember my “immense” loathing? LOL.

Maybe not so immense anymore

Anyway, this week is going to be super exciting! I’ve been working the last month or so full-time hours by choice since they were lacking a F/T position and I am the P/T. But, they filled the position, for how long?

Who knows?

They ALWAYS call.

But, happily I am back to my P/T and what I refer to Halloweek has begun! So many exciting things happening this week! For one we will find out the gender of Jelly Bean! Tres stoked!

Tons of Halloween activities with Gabs. MJ movie and of course trick or treating! Gabriella already carved a pumpkin with Daddy, perhaps a bit early but, it turned out pretty wicked!

Of course roasted the seeds… Yum!  I can’t wait to spend my time with my baby, as soon as I get off this PC I am going to be with her allll week.

So there is this huge hype on flu season

Maybe not so much of a hype since it is listed at Level 6. Pandemic. Yet it is still not a reality in terms of our location. I work in health care and I am adamant about not receiving the vaccines.

But, to each their own.

Everyone has their own convictions and I only wish everyone luck and highly encourage hand washing. It’s ultimately the number one way to avoid contraction and spread of infection.

Avoid highly congested areas and avoid sneezing or coughing droplets. If you aren’t accepting “protection”, protect yourself.

I hope everyone has a Happy and Safe Halloween!!

I know I will with my beautiful family and loved ones.

Can’t wait! I’m gonna dip into Gabby’s stash for sure.

The name Nancy is shown with a dandelion fluff on the end of the y.
