A Men’s Guide to Maintaining a Beautiful Smile

When it comes to oral and dental health, some of us men don’t take it as seriously as we should. In fact, there are surveys out there that state that women have better smiles. Surveys say that women care more about their oral health than men. Well, it’s time to prove them wrong.

I had the chance to try out the new cariPRO and let me tell you, it’s really changed my dental health game. I’ll be honest, while Nancy uses an electric toothbrush, it’s never been a part of my routine. I’ve always only used a manual. Despite that, I jumped in mouth first and I started brushing twice a day, I played around with all 5 brushing modes.

Super Clean

The biggest thing that I can say about the Cari Pro is that not only is it sleek and well-made, it really does its job. The brush heads are nice and firm and with the 5 different settings (clean, white, massage, gum care, sensitive), I find that my teeth feel really, really clean.

I was pleasantly surprised that halfway through the day, I could still run my tongue across my teeth and feel clean.

I love that it has an auto-interval smart timer that with a vibration, tells me to move on to another quadrant in my mouth. That way, each section of my teeth is super clean.

Waterproof

It also doesn’t hurt that it looks good but, it’s waterproof. For me, I like to get things done in a short amount of time.

My fogless mirror helps me to shave in the shower and I can still bring in my brush to brush my teeth in the shower. So, I can keep my routine as is and it saves me time.

Great Battery Life

One thing that I absolutely love about the cariPRO is the extended battery life. I just had to recharge after having tried it out for about 2 months. To me, that’s amazing. I don’t have to charge it constantly and it maintains a strong charge all throughout.

Helps with Tongue Care

For me, brushing my tongue and making sure it was clean with a manual brush was difficult. Brushing it and trying to clean it would make me gag. The cariPRO comes with 2 brush heads and they both have a tongue

Now onto the tips!

1. Invest in a Good Electronic Tooth Brush

Obviously, you know that I can vouch for the cariPRO. Why? It works. Simple as that!

Brushing with an electronic brush is said to better than manual brush. It removes plaque more effectively, they’re safer for gums, great for people with mobility issues and more.

As I mentioned, it makes my teeth feel squeaky clean but, I also feel like it’s helped my gums too. I used to have inflammation periodically and I noticed that my gums haven’t been bothering me.

Just that alone is making my wife want to switch brands. The fact that it’s more affordable than the current brand she uses is also a win. They have great packages. The individual package, a deluxe package, and even a couples package. The price of a cariPRO for an individual is $119, compared to $220 and the couples package is $199, compared to $440.

2. Brush More Often

They say that us men don’t brush enough. So, maintaining a beautiful smile means you have to put in the work. The Canadian Dental Association recommends brushing twice daily for at least 2 minutes. So, turn on that cariPRO and go!

3. Get Dental Exams Regularly

I know it’s one more thing to add to-do list. From working out to skincare, dental care is one more thing. It’s important to get checked out every 6 months.

Not only to keep your oral care in check but, to monitor any issues that can come up that can be linked to other problems. Like heart disease, cancer, and other issues that can be nipped at the bud or caught early.

4. Floss With It

While a good electronic toothbrush can do wonders (enter cariPRO) it’s beneficial to partner both to maintain a great smile. Just in case you missed something with your brush or you may have eaten food that’s gotten stuck between your teeth. 

5. Use a Tongue Scraper

Even after you brushed your teeth, bacteria and gross stuff can stay on your tongue. Use a tongue scraper to remove any build-up. Doing so will remove any bacteria and give you fresher breath, dude. Psst. The cariPRO’s brush heads have awesome tongue scrapers, just sayin’!

6. Use Mouthwash

To finish off your routine and to have great breath, use mouthwash. It’s like the finishing touch and it gets all the nooks and crannies. Plus, you will have minty-fresh breath. You can’t go wrong with that. 

Smile

Nancy, my wife, has always told me that she fell in love with my smile. That she absolutely loves it. Going from a manual toothbrush to an electric toothbrush has made me want to smile even more.
