Take Control with PGX Daily!
When I was offered to take part in a testing of PGX for a period of 2 months, I was more than happy to participate and give it a whirl. My weight has always fluctuated and I have always had a good handle on what foods to eat and what foods to avoid to maintain a healthy weight. With the birth of my first child, I gained a large amount of weight and in less than a year, I lost it all and was down to a size 3.
With my second child, it has been quite a roller coaster and I’ve been up and then I’ve been down and then up again. I am finding things that worked for me in the past don’t work as well anymore for me when it comes to weight loss. I don’t blame the gain on just having another child but, by poor choices and life events that have been contributors to it.
With that being said, I was more than happy to try and see how it worked because I had heard great things. I saw PGX Daily on Dr. Oz and knew I just had to try it! PGX sent over the works and I began my journey!
PGX reduces the glycemic index of any food or beverage from 35-70%! Choosing low glycemic index foods more often helps manage body weight, blood sugar levels, and promotes sustained energy levels. A low glycemic diet is also a key strategy in reducing chronic or “silent” inflammation in the body.
The softgels were quite large but, if you’re used to taking vitamins or pills–you’ll be just fine. They go down easy and have no taste or aftertaste for that matter. The recommended amount is two start off with 1-2 softgels with every meal and eventually build up to the recommended amount of 3-6 softgels with every meal. You MUST drink it with a tall glass of water and be sure to drink plenty of water in between of meals.
I started off with the lowest amount the first week and since PGX helps keep you full in between meals, you have to make sure you drink plenty of water. I definitely noticed a change in my digestion once I started taking the PGX and your body will remind you if you haven’t had enough water. But, I drank enough water and it helps keep you regular and it really does help with appetite.
PGX Daily Singles!
When your busy or if you’re on the go, you can take your PGX Daily through the PGX Daily Singles granules. You can add it to your moist foods like soups, salads or in your water and juice. It will also help provide that feeling of fullness that helps you throughout the day!
I added the granules to my morning oatmeal, you will notice that when you put the granules on the texture of the food changes a bit, don’t be alarmed. The granules are tasteless so it won’t affect the taste, it was great to just add it and know that I had my dose!
PGX Daily On-The-Go!
I travel a lot. Whether it’s out of the country, road trips or day trips and pill cases get messy and they’re hard to keep track of what you’ve taken and what you need to take. The PGX Daily Tri-Packs are perfect for people who are on the go at all times. You can just throw them in your purse, gym bag, brief case or luggage and you’re covered. I took these with me when I went to San Francisco in April.
What Helps Burn Those Calories?
The ultra matrix technology involves suspending PGX in a rich oil matrix which also has a thermogenic effect and can aid in the burning of calories. Stomach acid causes this matrix to dispense within minutes and allows it to mix with food and water.
- Control and balances blood sugar.
- Lower “bad” (LDL) cholesterol levels by increasing the excretion rate of blood cholesterol.
- You avoid the “jitters” or shakes. Since PGX doesn’t use stimulants it is safe to use.
- Keep you regular. It is high in fibre and PGX absorbs water slowly and maintains its gel-like viscosity throughout the digestive tract.
I’m not much of a breakfast person. My breakfast usually consists of fruit or oatmeal. My most favorite PGX product is PGX SATISFAST and Whey Protein. It comes in Very Vanilla and in my favorite Rich Chocolate. What I love most about it is that you can easily take it with you wherever you go or blend and make it into a treat at home.
I work afternoons and I would fill my shaker cup with 8oz of almond milk and brought my scoop in a small container and had it during my break at work. I only work a short shift so I take it as an “in-between meals” shake and it keeps me full until I can have a bigger meal.
Have a Treat.
What I loved about PGX SATISFAST was it’s versatility. You can blend the Rich Chocolate protein shake with a spoon of peanut butter and banana or you can have a Strawberry Vanilla shake with the Very Vanilla protein shake. They can help with your sweet tooth cravings and they leave you satisfied for a long time.
If you’re worried about side effects, there isn’t any that I had. Besides feeling a bit funny in the tummy 1-2 times when I hadn’t drank enough water .With this round of PGX, I only lost about 10 pounds and it’s because I wasn’t too strict on my diet. I did notice that I was fuller longer and I got fuller faster when I took PGX. I am going to purchase another round of PGX and really give it a go at it.
