Especially when it comes to our phones, they are our lifelines and if for some reason something happens to them, it can really have an impact on our daily lives. I don’t know about you but, I use my phone everyday to check, read and send emails. To stay connected via social media, text or call family or clients, banking, schedule appointments and the list goes on.

Losing access can be detrimental to my business and for staying connected with loved ones as well. If you’re like me, you like to get the latest gadgets and when you get them, you want it them to be protected. If you just got your hands on a new device and activation, coverage can start from day one with 2 years of unlimited mechanical and electrical malfunctions with no service charges. TELUS Device Care offers device protection for all devices in TELUS’ lineup (except iPhones – they have something special below for those) for liquid or accidental damage and manufacturing defects for up to two years for $6/month or $99 upfront.
TELUS Device Care Premium offers device protection for all devices in TELUS’ lineup including iPhones for liquid, accidental damage or manufacturing defects for up to two years AND lost or stolen devices for $11/month or $179.
iPhone User?
Well, TELUS has something for iPhone users too! TELUS is now the first Canadian carrier to offer AppleCare+ at a convenient monthly rate of $6/month for two years. Customers still have the option to purchase AppleCare+ for $99 upfront as well. More details can be found here. This is definitely something I am looking into since I just got one!
And if that’s not enough, they’ve tweaked our TELUS Upgrade Promise (T-UP!) program which now extends to all devices in their lineup, giving customers the option to upgrade to a new device after just 12 months.
Want more? T-UP! is now bundled with either TELUS Device Care or AppleCare+ for a total fee of $10/month. I am super happy that TELUS is helping us take care of our investments and lifelines!

This is such a great service. With so much that can happen to your phone, it is great to have some peace of mind about it being covered.
I love that coverage starts as low as $6.00 a month, is is so very affordable. I will have to check into this for my family.

It is funny the other day I couldn't find my phone and totally freaked out… All these horrible thoughts went through my head about having to replace it, then I found it in between my seats in the van. Thank goodness… This sounds like a great program

This could be a great plan for me, I've wrecked so many phones and had to re-buy full price. Yet, with coverage, luck would have it that I not need it right? I'd still be happy with the peace of mind!

I like that customers can upgrade to a new device after 12 months. Many years ago I was a Telus customer and was a happy Telus customer. Sadly their plans weren't for us when it came time to get phones again.

My son's had a Telus phone for a few years now, We've always been super impressive with their customer care! The device care they now offer is just great, another reason for us to recommend Telus!
