Throwback Thursday and Netflix.

Yes, it’s a match made in heaven in my books. I am guilty of taking part in #TBT since I think it’s a healthy thing to look back, reflect and even LAUGH at yourself sometimes. I often post pictures to my Instagram of when my eldest was a little baby or pictures of me with questionable hair do’s or making funny faces. Funny NOW because back then, I was oh so serious about those poses. Those poses which include throwing up peace signs, pouting and corn rows. Ahh, the memories.

Keep Calm and Netflix On.

Yes, Netflix is joining in on the fun and you can now find the COOLEST and the most TOTALLY TUBULAR shows of your childhood on Netflix. Like some of the titles above, those movies bring back so many great memories. I grew up watching them and I never tire of watching them and sharing them with my girls. I especially love “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids”  because, we all know, it’s a CLASSIC. Check out these titles that are guaranteed to take you back in time!

  1. The Mighty Ducks
  2. Ghostbusters
  3. Heathcliff
  4. Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
  5. The Secret of Nimh
  6. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
  7. Spider-Man
  8. The Facts of Life
  9. The Smurfs
  10. Diff’rent Strokes
Blast from The Past.

These titles sure bring back so many memories. In fact, I was about 4-6 years-old when I used to watch these shows on early, early mornings before school. Or on Saturday mornings, man, they don’t make cartoons like they used to. I’m so happy that Netflix has inspired a revival in vintage toons and movies, the resurgence makes me very happy! Check out some more super awesome and old school titles.

  1. My Little Pony: The Runaway Rainbow
  2. Sesame Street: Classics
  3. The Busy World of Richard Scarry
  4. The Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation
  5. Curious George
  6. Clifford the Big Red Dog
