  1. Yeah I switched when they offered the free $ and when I went to visit my son, I happen to talk to the reps in the airport and ended up getting a cc as well

  3. I have been banking with the same small town bank since I had my very first account a million years ago. I have not had any surprises with them 🙂

  5. Glad you found a banking solution that works for you. I have been banking with the company my mom worked for most her banking career. We have been with them for 23 years and luckily for us they have changed with the technology just like CIBC.

  6. If there is one thing I hate, it is extra baking fees. I left a large bank and opted for a smaller one for this very reason.

  8. I’m stateside, so no CIBC for me. I’ve been with the same bank for only a few years. I switched when I moved and needed a bank with more convenient branch locations.

    1. It is mostly the banking fees that we are talking about. We get those surprises at the end of the month when we have gone over transactions. 🙂

  10. What a great service from a bank, I wish all bank have services like this so customers will invest more and will not worry in the investment.

  11. Never heard of CIBC but I would love to open an account if they will have one in the Philippines.

  12. I hate hidden fees and whenever I come across them I will call and dispute them. It is so frustrating!

  13. I have been fortunate enough to have not been hit with hidden charges. But, I admit that I have also gone out of my way to avoid them!

  14. Sounds like a good banking account option. We are not with CIBC but have been lucky so far with no surprise fees at the end of the month.
