Staying in Champions Gate with Global Resort Homes

Champions-Gate-01

Champions Gate with Global Resort Homes.
It was pretty EPIC.

By that I mean that, as always, we enjoyed ourselves to the max and had an absolutely amazing experience. We didn’t want to leave, put it that way. Well, I had the opportunity to stay in one of Global Resort Homes newest and developing communities in sunny Florida, Champions Gate!

About Champions Gate:

Global is proud to announce their newest gated resort community – Champions Gate Resort. Champions Gate Resort will be an upscale resort featuring a public 18-hole golf course with a driving range and putting green and will include a golf clubhouse having dining, locker rooms and a pro shop.

Champions Gate will also boast 6 clay tennis courts along with a tennis clubhouse. In addition, Champions Gate will feature a main clubhouse that includes a resort-style pool with water slides and cabanas, lazy river, splash park, state-of-the-art fitness center, spa, tiki bar and movie theatre along with a playground and volleyball courts. Champions Gate will be their first community that consists of 8-bedroom homes along with 4, 5, 6 and 7 bedroom homes!

Breathtaking.

Since this house is so brand new, it simply took our breaths away. I mean, all of Global’s properties are gorgeous but, this house in particular was absolutely spectacular. The decor simply oozed style and the colors worked perfectly.

Not to mention, the whole house was themed in an almost underwater, sea shore master piece. I am also a little biased, I’ll admit, since the home owners of 1458 Moon Valley Dr. are Canadian.

The dining room was beautiful, with tall dining table center pieces and it out looked the pool and deck area. The dining area can seat up to 10 people and this makes it perfect for hosting reunions and get-together’s or just plain breaking bread if you travel in a large group.

Freedom to Release Your Inner Cook!

The breakfast bar seats up to 4 people and the kids especially loved sitting on the high stools while they ate their breakfast in the morning. Now, unleash your inner Gordan Ramsay in this awesome kitchen! It has beautiful cabinets and cupboards and they were stocked to the max.

This kitchen was absolutely a pleasure to wake up to every morning, the homeowners sure thought of everything and it came equipped with a microwave, blender, coffee maker, knife block, spice rack, sponges, toaster, stove and a gorgeous fridge. Yeah, it made ice and poured water and it was HUGE and we stocked that baby right up.

Champions-Gate-04

Baking, what?

It also had all types of glass ware and plastic yet stylish bowls and plates that were perfect to use for kids. They also had every single thing you’d have in your own home to cook with, spatulas, can openers, cheese graters–you name it!

My Tia Sarita and mom woke up early in the morning to make a favorite Salvadorian bread–quesadilla and authentic Salvadorian tortillas! Who would have thought you can BAKE on your vacation?

Champions-Gate-15

Pure Comfort.

This house boasts 2 story’s, 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms with pool and spa. There are two rooms downstairs on the lower level. The one pictured above was where my parents stayed in for the week.

They loved the classiness of the canopy bed and having a double sink was perfect for them to get ready. It also came with an full en suite bathroom with shower. Their thoughts on the room was the bed was amazing to sleep in and they fully enjoyed their time in this room.

Champions-Gate-05

Super Kid-Friendly.

What’s better than a bunk bed  but, a bunk bed where you can share with your favorite cousin?

Yeah, nothing!

This is the second room on the lower level and it is adjacent to the kitchen. It sleeps 3, with a surprise pull-out mattress on the bottom. The kids absolutely loved this space because of the bunk beds primarily but, second of all, they loved it because they had the privacy of their own TV and own full en suite washroom with shower!

Even my littlest (who slept with us upstairs) could be found in this room playing with the older girls. It was THE hang out room besides the entertainment room of course.

The Extras!

The entertainment room had a full-size pool table, TV and PlayStation 3 at our disposal. Not to mention, there was a leather couch where you can just sit back and relax and plenty of room to run around!

Now, one of the best rooms in the house was the laundry room. At least for me. Here is where we’d wash all the wet towels, bathing suits and before we left– all of our clothes. Nothing like leaving your vacation with CLEAN clothes.

Another amazing perk that this property comes with is a broom, mop, vacuum, iron and iron board and get this–a full-size stroller, umbrella stroller, car seat, a full-size Pack N’ Play and a high chair! All of these things are absolutely, truly and without a doubt a god send. Especially the high chair that we used for every meal!

Champions-Gate-12

Wanna Lounge?

The main living room was pretty awesome sauce. This is where I read two books entirely while the ceiling fan provided a nice breeze, I chilled on the comfy couch with pillows and the kids watched TV. Did I mention that almost all the TV’s in the house were 3D compatible?

Pretty wicked, huh?

The living room was adjacent to washroom with shower which was connected to the outdoor pool and deck. Perfect for getting in and out of the pool. Shower was so handy having it there, that way the house didn’t get all wet and slippery. You did your business before you came in and you were good to go!

Let’s Head Upstairs.

Upstairs you will walk into another living room, 4 bedrooms and an extra full bathroom. This was a perfect hang out for late night conversations between Aunts and nieces and lying on the carpets with blankets and pillows while watching DVD’s with the kids.

As you can see, throughout the whole house, there’s beautiful decor, authentic marble pieces and just a meticulous and super stylish attention to detail.

Champions-Gate-10

Like Kings and Queens.

Indeed, we slept like royalty. This king-size bed was pure heaven, the ceiling fan provided a cool breeze at night and the sheets were amazingly soft. I wish I knew where the homeowners bought the bedding because I wish I could have taken it home with me.

We brought up the Pack N’ Play (which was brand new by the way) and set it up next to our bed for Mimi. Though, she only used it a couple times and found her way in the middle of our bed. Let me tell you, that little one moves when she sleeps and all 3 of us were able to share the bed without disrupting the other.

Oh and did I mention walk-in closet?

What I love about having a vacation home when we come to Florida is that when Mimi had her little moments or when she got cranky and needed a nap, we can escape to our bedroom.

We can put the TV on or just remove her from all stimulation altogether and have some peace and quiet in the sanctuary of our own room. You can’t do that in a hotel room where you all share the same space.

Champions-Gate-09

Bliss.

I think this was one of our most used rooms in the entire house. The garden tub was big enough for me to use with both of my girls and the shower was big enough for all 3 of us too! After swimming, we would dry off, shower and then take a dip in the tub.

It was also pure heaven for me to get away from the kiddos while they swam with their dad outside and I took a nice, long soak in the tub.

The double sinks were perfect for getting ready in the morning on our many trips out to close attractions like Sea World. The toilet room is very private and you can use it while your roomie is using the shower or tub without disruption.

More Space!

We spent our evenings here most nights, we watched TV or simply just relaxed on the couches and had some great conversations. It was amazing being with our family that we don’t get to see often. To be reunited and share in great convos is something that is priceless. Before we settled in, we would always find ourselves here and it was a great way to end amazing, memory-filled days.

Sleeping in Style.

My Aunt and cousins slept upstairs in the adjoining rooms pictured above. They were connected by a shared bathroom and shower, my Aunt told me that she didn’t even want to get out of bed in the mornings because the beds were so soft and comfortable. Both rooms have their own TV’s and plenty of space to store their clothes for the week.

Champions-Gate-21

Even MORE Space!

We have a large family and Global Resort Homes allows us to be able to bring everyone together and still have plenty of room to share. This bedroom had two full beds that is perfect for the teens and tweens to share. In a house that sleeps 16 comfortably, they will definitely appreciate the space and privacy.

Last But, Definitely NOT Least.
The Pool.

Who doesn’t love the ability to wake up every day and head to your own private and enclosed pool when they’re on vacation? This pool was amazing, fun and considering that we are from Canada, we definitely enjoyed this pool. The adults sure enjoyed the hot tub, it was awesome to wind down like that every night if we wanted to!

That’s what’s so awesome about Global Resort Homes, you can always come  and stay at a beautiful property in a gated community, all-year round and enjoy the Florida heat.

Choose Global.

The homeowners even paid attention to every detail and provided lounging chairs, a full table and a whole box fully stocked and equipped with every single pool toy you can think of. This property is an absolute must-stay in our books simply because of the care that is put behind every furnishing and decor. It really made our stay in Florida complete because we felt like we are at home.  Not one thing was missing from the comfort of a home.

We were also able to take in the resort at Paradise Palms and use their huge pool with a grotto and waterfalls. Their movie theater, Tiki Bar and splash pad to name a few. But, since Champions Gate is still developing, I’m going to have to come back to experience what they have planned for their on-site resort. The Champions Gate Resort will offer championship amenities you can call EXTRAORDINARY!

As if the endless array of theme parks, attractions and on-site golf isn’t enough, Champions Gate has social and recreational amenities for everyone in the family. 3 clubhouses, lagoon pool with slide, kids playground and splash zone, fine and casual dining, tennis and volleyball, a poolside lounge and grill, lazy river and a fitness center.

See It LIVE.

You can rest assured that you’ll be taken care of at 1458 Moon Valley Drive and that you are close to all the major attractions. 7. Thank you for the generous comments! This home belongs to my sister Carmen and I. We chose the house plan, colors, etc. this past March and the house was built by July. Our families love to travel to Florida together, we are usually in the range of 10-15 people. We had stayed in a motel before and found that we are too spread out. We stayed in a Global home last year and decided it was the way to go from now on. The pool never closes, the kitchen is always open and the cost per person is less than a motel stay when you have a larger group. We now have our own place to go to and are able to rent it out through Global when we are not there. We had a fabulous decorator, Carol at Dovetail Interiors, who worked diligently to get the look we wanted. We are glad that you and your family got to enjoy our home Nancy and appreciate the reviews, (especially Gabbys', she's a natural 🙂 . Thanks!

Gabby loved the bunk beds and was super happy to show the world how much she loved your home! Thanks for stopping by Denise and once again, thank-you so much! <3
