Let’s talk about how many living and breathing people are in my home. We have two kids, two frenchies, my husband and me. With all of us under one roof, our house can get quite dirty quickly.

I needed a tool that would help me clean up the messes that life brings and the Dyson V8 Absolute fit right into what I was looking for!

I have been a Dyson user ever since I became a homeowner and that was many years ago. In fact, I still have my Dyson DC77 Animal that is still a beast that I use throughout the basement and in the bedrooms.

I think the most annoying part for me when it comes to vacuums is the cord. It keeps you tethered to one area and gets all tangled up. I am thankful I can break free from the cord and say hello to a cordless option!

While I like to keep things clean and tidy at all times, cleaning all different types of floors can be trying. But, with the Dyson V8, it can move from carpet to hardwood floors in no time.

With a swift change of an attachment, I can clean my tiles, hardwood floors and carpet because at any given moment, there could be a cereal spill, dog kibble and dog hair on the floors.

Versatile

The Dyson V8 seemed to have no trouble handling any mess we threw at it. You’ll find that the soft roller head on this vacuum is more than capable of picking up big debris and fine dust from your floors.

While the carpet attachment, with those nylon bristles, reaches deep into your carpet and delivers clean. The dusting attachments are perfect for cleaning my desk and keyboard and getting the dust between the books on my bookshelves.

One of the best features is that this vacuum can handle cleaning couches, mattresses and even the interior of vehicles. It has an extension hose that will help you get into those hard to reach nooks and crannies.

This is the latest generation of vacuums and the V8 is amazing. It is quieter, stronger and always effective. It’s safe to say that the Dyson V8 has changed the way I clean in our home.

I can put away my broom for good now that I can use one device to clean every surface in my home.
